About

A NIGHT AT THE ROCK OPERA is back in support of YWCA NSW!
For music fans who can’t get enough of The Who, Queen, Frankie Valli and Pink Floyd, you can’t get closer to the anthemic rock experience than A Night at the Rock Opera.
Now in its 3rd year, A Night at the Rock Opera is more homage than tribute to these great songs with 16 of our greatest vocalists taking the stage to belt out 20 dead set anthems, with music courtesy of an insanely versatile band capable of bringing off even the most intricate rock pieces with effortless ease.
A Night at the Rock Opera covers some of the biggest rock musicals including Tommy, Jesus Christ Superstar, Rocky Horror Show, Evita, The Wall, Jersey Boys, We Will Rock You, Rock Of Ages, Strictly Ballroom and Godspell.
And the party is assured when you get to include these wonderful, supportive performers who are confirmed to take the stage on the night (in alphabetical order): Bobby Fox (Jersey Boys), Brydon Stace, Chris Ninni, Ciaran Gribbin (INXS), Emma Pask, Glenn Cunningham, Glenn Shorrock, Guy Delandro, Harmony Lovegrove (The Voice Kids), Jack Vidgen, Jak Housden (The Whitlams), Jeff Duff, Mark Williams (Dragon), Monica Trapaga, Robyn Loau, Simon Meli, and Steve Balbi (Noiseworks).

A Night at the Rock Opera will have you up on your feet and singing along LOUDLY to hit songs like Time Warp from Rocky Horror Picture Show to Pinball Wizard from Tommy.  It really will be a night not to be missed.
YWCA NSW works with women, children young people and their families to make a difference in their lives. To continue the important work YWCA NSW has been doing so for over 130 years - A Night at the Rock Opera was created to assist in raising much needed funds.
YWCA NSW CEO, Anna Bligh, said today “This year is no exception - we’re putting the “fun” into fundraising. We have some great acts lined up - so come along, dance and sing and raise money for our many important programs - it’s a night you won’t want to miss.”

Don’t miss the opportunity to party with A Night at the Rock Opera and YWCA NSW by getting in early when tickets go on sale at 10.00am on Monday 15th September.
