SOUNDS LIKE SUMMER
FEATURING: BRIAN WILSON, AMERICA, CHICAGO, PETER FRAMPTON & A STELLAR AUSTRALIAN LINE UP
CHANGE OF VENUE TO SIDNEY MYER MUSIC BOWL

Sounds Like Summer featuring an amazing line up, including Brian Wilson, America, Chicago, Peter Frampton and a stellar Australian line up has changed venues from the Intimate Arena Mode, Etihad Stadium to Sidney Myer Music Bowl, taking place as scheduled on Monday the 1st November.

Promoter, Andrew McManus states, "Sidney Myer Music Bowl will be the perfect setting for this event. Sounds like Summer is a real celebration to welcome in the warmer months, the music is summer inspired and to present this line up in an outdoor, more intimate venue, makes this event even more appealing to punters. Logistically, I think it works a lot better for this type of show and you can't deny how beautiful the setting is."

Andrew McManus Presents and Ticketmaster will make the change over as simple and straightforward as possible for existing ticket holders. Ticketmaster will be sending out new tickets for Sidney Myer Music Bowl and will be issuing a letter of instruction to ensure that there is absolutely no confusion for ticket holders.

Australian fans can expect to hear Brian Wilson's greatest hits along with his solo classics and a selection of songs from his new album Brian Wilson Reimagines Gershwin. Brian Wilson is one of popular music's most deeply revered figures and the main creative force behind some of the most cherished recordings in rock history. It is no exaggeration to call Brian Wilson one of the most influential composers of the last century. The Brian Wilson live show is a wonderful example of recreating the magic of the timeless melodies and complex harmonies that made the Beach Boys sound.

Grammy Award winning group, America, who are celebrating their 40th anniversary as a band this year are excited to perform a mix of greatest hits, such as A Horse With No Name, Sister Golden Hair and You Can Do Magic plus selected songs from their plethora of recorded music for their Australian fans.

Chicago, who have a lifetime of achievements include a Grammy Award, multiple American Music Awards and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame will perform at Sounds Like Summer. An incredible 25 of their 32 albums have been certified platinum and the band has a total of 47 gold and platinum awards.

The legendary Peter Frampton, who remains one of the most celebrated artists and guitarists in rock history, will also perform at Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Fans can look forward to hearing Frampton's biggest hits such as, Baby I Love Your Way, Show Me The Way and Do You Feel Like I Do.

The Australian line up includes: Daryl Braithwaite, Ross Wilson, Joe Camilleri, Stephen Cummings, Deborah Conway and Danielle Spencer.

The Sidney Myer Music Bowl has changed the face of Melbourne's arts and cultural scene and it continues to honour the goal of its namesake, businessman and philanthropist Sidney Myer. Whether it's for a rock concert, a festival or performance, some 50 years on, the Bowl continues to inspire, entertain and unite everyone who comes under the shadow of its distinctive roof.
