‘The Festival is for those people who wish to learn more about wine. To taste and compare the wines of various regions, grape varieties and methods of production; and to assess the results of the various ‘Winemakers' arts and skill in relation to the taster's own palate and preferences. If you wish, take advantage of our Wine Education Program, our Winemakers, Wine Educators and Chefs will talk you through a sensational taste experience'.
Taste over 600 wines
In excess of 600 wines from wine regions around Australia will be represented. Visitors will be able to taste award winning boutique and internationally recognized labels, speak to winemakers, sample fine foods and enter competitions to win wine and prizes.
Wine & Food Masterclasses
Masterclass topics typically feature a Grape Variety or varieties from different regions of different wine styles e.g. Shiraz Viognier, the female version of Shiraz. Masterclasses are a 50 minute tutored tasting of between four and eight wines with a featured Brisbane Restaurant creating the perfect food match.
