A swashbuckling adventure comes to life on the Polly Woodside this summer! Join four of history’s most famous and colourful pirates of the Caribbean as they regale their life stories on the high seas, battling for booty from passing merchant ships and celebrating the pirate life to the full. Discover how they evaded avenging imperial fleets, where they buried their treasure and how some managed to escape dancing the hempen jig (being hanged) and went on to live respectable lives in new lands.

Meet Blackbeard (Edward Teach) and Calico Jack Rackham, who together with Anne Bonny and Mary Read are four of the most notorious early 18th century Caribbean pirates. Marvel at their adventures, their loves and losses as they pursued the pirate a life on the high seas sparkling with the enticing lustre and lure of the riches just waiting for a pirate to take. Aaaarg!
