Metricon Stadium is located on Nerang-Broadbeach Road in Carrara.

Parking

Please note that there will be no public parking available at Metricon Stadium and parking restrictions will be enforced in the areas surrounding the Stadium. A limited number of disabled and coach car parks are available at Metricon Stadium, however these must be booked in advance through Stadium Management on 07 5510 6000.

Public Transportation
Passengers in possession of a pre-purchased Gold Coast SUNS home game ticket travel free with TransLink to and from the event on all TransLink shuttle bus and scheduled Surfside bus services, as well as Queensland Rail train services (conditions apply). Please note that you must be in possession of your valid event ticket prior to travelling on TransLink event services. If you have selected the venue collection option you can pick your tickets up before the event day from any Ticketmaster agency to take full advantage of this transport offer.

Train – Catch any Queensland Rail train service to Nerang Station then jump on a free TransLink shuttle bus direct to Metricon Stadium.
Bus – Catch any regular Surfside Bus service to Pacific Fair Shopping Centre and then jump on a free TransLink shuttle bus direct to Metricon Stadium.

Tickets are available, subject to availability, from the Ticket Sales outlets at Gate 1 and Gate 3 only on the day of the event (from approximately 1-2 hours prior to game time).

Patrons may enter Metricon Stadium via Gate 1 or Gate 3.

Children Rules

Children aged five and under are admitted free of charge provided that they do not occupy a seat.

All patrons, prior to entering the Stadium will be subject to, as a minimum requirement, a search of bags and any other items carried that may contain prohibited items.
Patrons who refuse to comply are contravening the Stadium Conditions of Entry and as a result may be refused entry into the Stadium.

Prohibited items include but are not limited to – Illegal goods or substances; incendiary devices (flares, fireworks and smoke bombs); laser lights; alcohol; animals (other than assistance dogs); bicycles, scooters, skateboards and rollerblades / skates; professional cameras, audio recording devices or video cameras; camera tripods and professional lenses (greater than 200mm); chairs and stools; glass and crockery; cans, drink containers larger than 600mls and opened soft drink bottles; large flags or banners with handles exceeding 100cm in length or 2cm in diameter; any bag that is not pliable or soft (eg esky); any large item that cannot fit under a seat; loud hailers, megaphones and musical instruments; any other item that in the opinion of GCFC management could cause harm or public nuisance (including beach balls or any other inflatable).

Umbrellas are permitted into the Stadium but must not be opened within the seating bowl or concourse areas.

Prams and pushers are permitted provided they can be stowed safely under the patron’s seat or used in a location where patron access or egress is not inhibited by the pram or pusher.

Limited cloaking is available at Gates 1 and 3.
