Jon Nicholls Productions presents Hale & Pace - In Pieces The madcap wit of this comedic duo have a unique rapport with the public and media alike, with each appearance and interview they provide a rollercoaster of cultural parodies and inventive character creations. Hale says to expect all the favourites on this tour. "The Rons will be there, Jed and Dave, Billy and Johnny and songs that will tickle your fancy." "There will be lots of new material" says Norman Pace, international poker player, "and we will be poking fun at anything that moves....or stays still. Members of the audience will also have a chance to star in the show." Hale and Pace met at teacher-training college in Eltham, South-East London, and roomed together. They discovered much in common, particularly humour, and began playing clubs in a comedy band. One of the clubs they most liked playing was "The Tramshed" in Woolwich where they achieved cult status with audiences. At the Edinburgh Festival they were chosen to be in the Best of the Fringe, and went on to star in 3 series on BBC Radio 4. Gareth Hale & Norman Pace have received several British Comedy Award nominations; a Bronze Award at the International Film and Television Festival in New York; Best of Category Award in the Comedy Section at the San Francisco International Film and Television Festival; they have been nominated three times for the Montreux Festival; won the Press Prize and the much coveted Golden Rose of Montreux; and appeared before Her Majesty The Queen at The Royal Variety Performance.
