Parking

NITRO ATHLETICS PARKING INFORMATION: We’re expecting bumper crowds at Lakeside Stadium as Australian sports fans get to see the fastest man on the planet run at Nitro Athletics. As a result, Melbourne Sports Hub would like to make the following recommendations to fans planning to attend Nitro Athletics: Arrive early: There’s plenty happening around the venue, arrive early, grab some food and check it out! Catch public transport: Parking options will be extremely limited, catch the #12 tram down Clarendon St to stop #130. PARKING INFORMATION FOR OTHER EVENTS (EXCLUDING NITRO ATHLETICS): There is limited onsite car parking available. Parking fees apply. Car parking is available from one hour prior to gates opening. Disabled parking is located in front of Albert by the Lake, seek direction from car park attendants.

Accessible Seating

Wheelchair access is available in the Northern Stand only. Accessible access to the Southern Stand is via the lift located at Albert by the Lake.

General Rules

This venue and its immediate surrounds are non smoking. Bicycles, skateboarders, rollar skates, rollar blades and scooter are not permitted within the facility. Flash photography and video recording are not permitted. No alcohol & glass containers are to be bought into Lakeside Stadium.

There are no ATM facilities available onsite. All entrants enter Lakeside Stadium at their own risk. The State Sports Centre Trust (Trust) will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage suffered by any person entering Lakeside Stadium (including liability for any injury, loss or damage caused by negligence of the Trust or its employees or agents). There are specific conditions of use which apply to facilities throughout Lakeside Stadium. You are required to read and abide by these conditions, which are located at different facilities through Lakeside Stadium. The following items are prohibited at the venue; animals (other that guide dogs), laser pointers, distress signals, dangerous goods, loud hailer and prohibited weapons or controlled weapons (within the meaning of control of weapons act 1990). Whilst in Lakeside Stadium your are responsible for your own property. Patrons are advised not to leave bags unattended.
