Experience a new elegance, intimacy and energy as guitar virtuoso Miloš Kardaglic makes his highly anticipated Australian debut.
With an album debuting at number one in the US, UK and Australia, two Gramophone Awards, and critically acclaimed performances around the world, Miloš has quickly emerged as the champion for a new generation of classical virtuosi.
The 28-year-old is already hailed by fans and critics for his brilliant technique and transcendent musicality, and is the first classical guitarist signed to the prestigious Deutsche Grammophon label in many years.
Miloš has come a long way from the war-torn Montenegro of his youth to London's Royal Academy of Music. He has appeared at the Lucerne Festival, the Wigmore Hall and the Purcell Room, collecting the Ivor Mairants Award in 2002 and the Julian Bream Prize in 2005. He was also the first guitarist to win the Prince of Wales' Prince's Prize.
With an inspiring program, including works by Bach, Barrios, Villa-Lobos, Albéniz, Theodorakis and Domeniconi, this young talent brings a new light and personal emotion to the humble instrument.
