“On The Boot” is a family fun day held during the AFL Finals series and is currently in its seventh year!! The 2015 “On The Boot” day will be held on the Sunday 13th of September 2015 at Glenferrie Oval, Hawthorn. 

Through the support of Channel 9, it is anticipated that attendance will exceed last years estimated 5,000 people!!! Whilst the day is heavily based towards football, there are also many other activities to entertain the kids including an animal nursery, rides and jumping castles. 

“On The Boot” starts with visits that many of the AFL players make to brighten up the day for the children in the Children’s Cancer Centre at the Royal Children’s Hospital during the finals series.
