ONE NIGHT OF QUEEN

Performed by Gary Mullen & The Works

He is the champion, my friends.

When it comes to resurrecting the spirit of the late, great Freddie Mercury, no one comes closer than Gary Mullen. The winner of the UK version of Stars in Their Eyes in 2000 - with more than 800,000 votes, the largest in the show’s history - Mullen is the exception to the saying `accept no imitations’.

Since winning Stars in Their Eyes Mullen has toured the world with his breathtaking One Night of Queen. His uncanny vocal resemblance to Freddie Mercury has enthralled people throughout the UK, USA, Europe, South Africa, New Zealand and now Australia.

It has even impressed the surviving members of Queen themselves: Mullen was personally invited by the band’s guitarist Brian May to attend the Queen & Paul Rodgers Show.

The rest of the world has seen One Night of Queen: now it is Australia’s turn.
One Night of Queen, performed by Gary Mullen and The Works is a spectacular live concert, recreating the look, sound, pomp and showmanship of arguably the greatest rock band of all time. Featuring hits such as I Want to Break Free, A Kind of Magic, We Will Rock You and - of course - Bohemian Rhapsody.

Reviewers have raved about Mullen’s likeness to the late Freddie Mercury. In Salt Lake City USA a reviewer said “Those who don't believe in reincarnation should have spent Thursday night inside a packed Kingsbury Hall watching Gary Mullen and The Works impersonate Queen. Wearing tight white pants, some ancient Adidas sneakers and often little else, Mullen brought legendary Queen front man Freddie Mercury back to life in a two-hour energy-filled concert that had toddlers to grandparents dancing in the aisles.”

In Christchurch, New Zealand the praise continued...

“Freddie Mercury rocked a packed house at the Westpac Centre in Christchurch at least his spirit did because the moustachioed man performing on stage was in fact Freddie Mercury Impersonator and Stars in their Eyes winner Gary Mullen."

“That made little difference to the audience that Mullen had clapping along a few songs into the performance. It was clear that the crowd were in the palm of his hand by the time he got to Under Pressure. The fast set ended with an amazing guitar solo by Brian May-alike David Brockett, whose talent as a guitarist is at least equal to Mullen’s vocal skill.”

Don’t take their word for it. Tickets are selling fast, so if you loved Queen you’ll love this.
