ARGYLE DIAMONDS ORD VALLEY MUSTER

TO CELEBRATE ITS 17TH YEAR WITH A SENSATIONAL PROGRAM OF EVENTS

The Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster, in celebration Ord Valley Events Inc. is proud to announce a sensational program of events which will take place in and around Kununurra, 19-28 May. With ticket to events SELLING OUT fast, we urge everyone to get in quick to secure their tickets this year.

The diversity of the annual Muster guarantees its appeal for anyone looking to experience the extraordinary, as the people of Kununurra and Wyndham show the rest of the world how a community 800 kilometres from Darwin and more than 3,000 kilometres from Perth, can come together to create magic!

Early bird tickets go on sale on 9am, Monday 21 November 2016 for this year’s Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster – this year with a new Early bird Family price too with discounts of up to 20 per cent on the Muster’s hallmark event, the Kimberley Moon Experience. Early bird ticket prices will run until 9 December or until the allocation is exhausted.

The black-tie Corporate Circle at the Kimberley Moon Experience is the most prestigious event of the year in the region and includes river boat transfers, exclusive dance floor and champagne, canapés and a full sit-down multi-course dinner under the stars – limited tables of ten and twelve available. The family friendly general admission tickets and family passes are also expected to sell quickly.

Back by popular demand to headline the Kimberley Moon Experience, the Muster’s biggest party, is Aussie rock legend Jimmy Barnes, who headlined the Kimberley Moon Experience in 2011.

Joining ‘Barnsey’ will be the legendary Daryl Braithwaite and Country Music superstar sisters The McClymonts.

Tagged as a wild-child, rock star, soul man and statesman, there is little doubt that Jimmy Barnes is a true Australian icon.

You can’t talk Australian music without mentioning Jimmy Barnes. As front-man for the legendary Cold Chisel, he tore through the Australian music scene in the 70s and 80s, then went on to do the same as a solo artist.

A career spanning four decades, Jimmy has had 15 Top 40 albums with Cold Chisel and 15 charting solo albums – including ten Number Ones – and holds the record for the most hit albums of any Australian artist.  In the live arena, Cold Chisel’s farewell tour, The Last Stand, is still the highest grossing concert series by an Australian band ever.

Daryl Braithwaite has also had an illustrious career spanning 40 years and has a recognisable voice, which is still winning audiences around the globe.

The gorgeous McClymonts - Brooke, Sam and Mollie – will be popular with the audience belting out their country-style heartfelt stories, irresistible tunes and that unmistakable honesty.

Ord Valley Events Chairman Narelle Brook said tickets are likely to sell fast with such an outstanding line up.

“We’ve got the best of the best of Australian rock royalty this year - Jimmy Barnes, Daryl Braithwaite and The McClymonts. Barnesy was hugely popular in 2011 and we’re looking forward to welcoming him back to Kununurra,” Brook said.

Tickets are also on sale for the Kimberley Kitchen and Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow with the exciting celebrity chef and comedian line up announced soon.
