General Rules

** CANCELLATION POLICY ** As an outdoor event Westpac OpenAir is subject to prevailing weather conditions. Specifically, rain will not prohibit the screening of films. Screenings will be cancelled only if weather conditions present a danger at Fleet Steps at screening time. Patrons accept that in purchasing a ticket, they are paying for a screening that commences at approximately 8.30pm on Mrs Macquaries Point, and that weather conditions prior to that time and in other parts of Sydney will not result in a screening being cancelled. Patrons accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur on a screening night, and acknowledge that tickets will not be exchanged or refunded unless a screening is cancelled due to dangerous weather conditions at screening time and Westpac OpenAir is unable to provide an avenue for the film to be viewed. If a screening is cancelled after a film has commenced, but before the end of the film, Westpac OpenAir will endeavour to provide an avenue for patrons to complete their viewing experience through an alternate means. For example, the remainder of the film could be shared via a private link or passes to an in season screening may be provided. In the unlikely event that a screening is cancelled, information will be posted on the event’s website www.westpacopenair.com.au, social media, and information hotline 1300 366 649; ticket holders will be contacted by Ticketmaster to notify them of proceedings. Patrons unwilling to accept this policy and the risk of inclement weather should plan to purchase tickets online on the night before sales close at 7pm, or see box office staff on the night. Ticket purchases are always subject to availability; tickets are not held for last-minute sales. The box office does not hold or accept cash.

Children Rules

Children under 2 years are admitted free provided they do not occupy a seat. Where film ratings preclude patrons under 18 years attending, or other age restrictions apply, NO children, including babes-in-arms, will be admitted.
