The 2012 Harvey Norman State of Origin Series will kick off at Melbourne's Etihad Stadium on 23rd May.
 
With 6 series wins in a row, there is no doubt the current QLD Maroons squad will be remembered as one of the best rugby league teams ever assembled. With the likes of Slater, Cronk, Inglis, Thurston and Cameron Smith - the challenge for NSW is certainly a tough one.
 
NSW is closing the gap, the 2011 series was one of the best ever.  NSW Blues coach Ricky Stuart will again be heading the charge. With players like Pearce, Soward, Hayne and captain Paul Gallen, the NSW squad is sure to be young, exciting and ready.
