Monster Energy Super X will return to Launceston in 2010
International supercross stars to compete in the Island State
World class supercross championship, the Monster Energy Super X, will host the third round of its seven round 2010 series at the Aurora Stadium on Saturday October 30, following the huge success of its first Tasmanian race in 2009.
Once again almost 6,000 tonnes of dirt will transform Aurora Stadium into a full sized USA designed supercross track for some of the best supercross riders in the world to compete on.
International riders confirmed to compete include:
- Justin Brayton (USA); Fifth in this year's AMA World Supercross series
- Mike Alessi (USA): Currently seventh overall in the AMA Pro Motocross series
Also competing will be all of Australia's best including Jay Marmont, Matt and Jake Moss as well as young gun Tye Simmonds.
