FURTHER PRESENTERS & PERFORMERS ANNOUNCED FOR 2012 ARIA AWARDS!

Russell Brand, The Madden Brothers, Nicki Minaj and Example will join local identities Bob Evans, Chris Cheney, Clare Bowditch, Ella Hooper, Erin McNaught, Gossling, Havana Brown, James Kerley, Jesinta Campbell, Josh Pyke, Josh Thomas, Justice Crew, Lanie Lane, Lee Kernaghan, Maude Garrett, Molly Meldrum, Richard Wilkins, Ricki-Lee, Ruby Rose, Timomatic and more on stage for the 2012 ARIA Awards on Thursday November 29!

On what is shaping up to be a massive night of music, Russell Brand will be joining the stage to present an ARIA Award on the eve of his first full national stand-up tour of Australia. Also stopping by to present an award during her Australian visit, is the colourful Nicki Minaj. ‘Honorary Aussies’, Benji & Joel Madden will also be joining the festivities of the night. "Benj and I are excited to be coming over to the ARIAs this year to present an award, and to celebrate the best in Aussie music. It's going to be a great night". Joel Madden. Timomatic & Justice Crew will be performing together for the first time in a special mash up of 2 of their biggest hits whilst Havana Brown and Ruby Rose will be taking on the role as official house DJ’s for the night. Gossling will be joining 360 on the stage to perform one of his biggest hits of the year, ‘Boys Like You’.

This incredible line up of talent will join 360, Guy Sebastian, Kimbra, Hilltop Hoods, Jessica Mauboy, The Jezabels, Missy Higgins and The Temper Trap as well as Yothu Yindi and International guest, Taylor Swift as the list of performers already confirmed to kick off a big night of celebrations. “The combination of talent we have on-stage at this years ARIAs, whether performing or presenting, is absolutely world-class. The nominees, music and big personalities set to grace the stage, will no doubt add to the many magic moments that the ARIA Awards have provided in Australian music folklore since 1987”. This years ARIA Awards are supported by the NSW Government through Destination NSW, David Jones, Sonos, JB Hi-Fi Now and PPCA and will be broadcast on Nine Network’s GO! channel from 7.30pm.

The official ARIA Awards After party for 2012 will be held at Marquee at The Star, Sydney's new one-of a-kind leisure and entertainment venue, located overlooking Sydney Harbour.
