You can now come extremely close to what most people only dream of...DRIVING A V8 RACE CAR!Racing V8 supercars! Drive a fully race prepared V8 on Brisbane's Queensland Raceway...Australia's newest FIA standard race track...Step up to the advanced level and hit up to 20km's at race pace...
These V8 race carsTickford XR8s have Hi-Performance ECUs and are race prepared with roll cages, safety harness, race seats and slick tyres. You will be supplied with a race suit and helmet.
The experience begins with a 30 minute briefing including how to approach the track, the lines and apexes to follow as well as what to expect when driving an actual race car. When you hit the track, you will be accompanied by a professional trainer who can advise you on advanced driving techniques to ensure that you gain the most from your experience. To conclude you will be presented with a certificate and photo as memorabilia of your Qld Raceway V8 experience.
Duration:
Best to allow three hours for the entire experience. Driving time is either five or eight laps (approx. 20 km's) of the race circuit at your own speed and can vary depending on whether you select the five or eight lap experience.
Dress Code:
You will be supplied with a race suit and helmet, therefore normal street attire is suitable.
Additional Info:
You will potentially be travelling at high speeds in a race car which is a physical challenge and may place you under G forces far more significant than a road car can generate, within this environment you may be shaken within you seat. Family and Friends are welcome as spectators on the day.
At least 'P' Plates are required to drive on the day.
All customers must let Queensland Raceway know if you want a Ford or Holden for the day so you will be placed into the right group.
