HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL is coming to Tasmania for the September School Holidays.  With only 8 performances this will be your chance to see the sensational smash hit phenomenon LIVE ON STAGE in 2009.

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL LIVE ON STAGE! is a contemporary musical about Troy, a popular high school basketball star, and Gabriella, a shy, academically gifted newcomer who discover they share a passion for singing. When they sign up together to audition for the lead roles in the school musical it threatens East High's rigid social order and sends their peers into uproar.  In a desperate attempt to maintain the status quo, the "jocks", the "brainiacs" and even the drama club regulars, are soon hatching convoluted plots to separate the pair and keep them off stage. However, by defying expectations and taking a chance on their dreams, the couple inspires other students to go public with some surprising hidden talent of their own.

Disney's HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL LIVE ON STAGE!  Follows the much-loved story of the movie, featuring all the characters and songs, together with two brand new numbers and a megamix finale.  This high-energy show will feature a large number of performers, a live band and an electrifying finale featuring an American-style Brass Band.
