Channeling the spirit of the swinging 60s and 70s, the D&D Ball Revival is all about letting loose and having fun. And like the free-loving spirits flocked to San Francisco in 1967 for the Summer of Love, so too will the dateless revelers out there flock to the Livewire precinct at Telstra Dome to get down, get funky, and maybe even get lucky!
Like all good revivals, some things have changed, some remain the same. We have kept all the good stuff that people love about D&D (all inclusive tickets, fine entertainment and matchmaking) but we've given her a very funky facelift.
Most notably, no more formal wear! D&D is going Retro and if you're up for it, you can too! There is no compulsory dress code, but if you want to have some fun with the retro theme and get all shagadelic then knock yourself out!
Artists appearing at the event include Jessica Mauboy, Inaya Day, Dirty Laundry, Mr Timothy, CC Martini, Jimmy Z, Retrosexual with more to be announced.
