MobileTicket is Ticketmaster's newest delivery method
What is MobileTicket?This is a new way to quickly receive the event tickets that you buy on Ticketmaster.com.au.
Rather than having tickets posted to you, or collecting them from the box office, a web link is sent to your mobile phone in a text message. To access your MobileTicket, simply click on the link (your phone must have access to the Internet). The mobile number you enter to retrieve your MobileTicket will only be used to deliver the web link SMS.
The MobileTicket is valid to admit you and any other members of your party to the event.
This is currently only available on certain events.

Q. How does MobileTicket work?
A. If MobileTicket is available on the event you are buying tickets for, it will display as a delivery option.
Step 1: Select MobileTicket delivery.
Step 2: Tell us the phone number of your mobile handset.
Step 3: Receive the web link in a text message.
Step 4: Take your phone to the event, access your MobileTicket via the web link, and show it at the entrance where it will be scanned as you are admitted.
Q. How long does it take to receive my MobileTicket?
A. As soon as you have supplied your mobile number, we aim to deliver the barcode within 24 hours, but it is usually much quicker than that.
Q. Does everyone in my party have to arrive together?
A. No. If you have purchased more than one ticket in a single order, your MobileTicket is still valid to admit all members of your party. If one or more of your guests need to enter separately simply:
1. Give us a call on 136 100.
2. Tell us the number of the phone belonging to your guest(s) - remember: they must have access to the Internet via their handset.
3. We will send a duplicate text message to your guest, at no extra charge.
Q. Why can't I just forward the barcode myself to any of my guests not entering with me?
A. It is better to let us do it for you. This is to make sure the venue is aware of how many separate parties they should expect for a single order. That way, you avoid additional waiting time at the entrance.
Q. What if I lose my phone, or if it's stolen, or if I upgrade to a new handset?
A. Just give us a call. Let us know if your replacement phone has a new number, and we will take care of getting a replacement MobileTicket to you, at no additional charge. In most cases, we will invalidate the original barcode that we sent to you to make sure that any new owner of your old phone cannot use your tickets.
