MobileTicket is Ticketmaster's newest delivery method

What is MobileTicket?

A new way to quickly receive the event tickets that you buy on Ticketmaster.com.au

Rather than having tickets posted to you, or collecting them from the box office, instead a barcode is sent to your mobile phone in a text message.

The barcode is valid to admit you and any other members of your party to the event.

Q. How does MobileTicket work?
A. If MobileTicket is available on the event you are buying tickets for, it will display as a delivery option.
Step 1: Select MobileTicket delivery.
Step 2: Follow the prompts to tell us your phone number and the make and model of your mobile handset.
Step 3: Receive the barcode in a text message.
Step 4: Take your phone to the event, where the barcode will be scanned as you're admitted.

Q. How long does it take to receive my MobileTicket?
A. As soon as you've supplied your mobile number, make and model, we aim to deliver the barcode within 24 hours, but it's usually much quicker than that.

Q. Why do I need to supply my mobile handset's make and model?
A. Different phones require different formats of MobileTicket. It's important to make sure that the barcode you receive is the right type and size for your phone, helping to ensure it can be easily scanned at the venue.

We've partnered with Mobiqa, the world leaders in mobile delivery, who optimise each and every MobileTicket for its destination handset.

To make it easier for you, we provide handset images whenever we ask you for your make and model, helping you to pick out yours.

Q. Does everyone in my party have to arrive together?
A. No. If you've purchased more than one ticket in a single order, we'll send you a single barcode that is valid to admit for all members of your party, but if one of more of your guests need to enter separately just:
1.Give us a call on (03) 96749600.
2.Tell us the number, make and model of the phone belonging to your guest(s).
3.We'll send a duplicate ticket to your guest, at no extra charge.

Q. Why can't I just forward the barcode myself to any of my guests not entering with me?
A. It's better to let us do it for you, because we'll reformat the barcode so that it's optimised for each handset type.

It's our priority to make sure that everyone arriving at the event has a MobileTicket that is right for their phone and which can be scanned quickly and easily.

Q. What if I lose my phone, or if it's stolen, or if I upgrade to a new handset?
A. Just give us a call, let us know if your replacement phone has a new number, or is a new make or model, and we'll take care of getting a replacement MobileTicket to you, at no additional charge.

In most cases, we will invalidate the original barcode that we sent to you, to make sure that any new owner of your old phone can't use your tickets.
