The Australian Ballet’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland© returns to take audiences back down the rabbit hole in February - March 2024.

Translated from Lewis Carroll’s beloved book, Alice brings the eccentricities of the original story to the ballet stage in a tale suitable for ballet and entertainment lovers all ages. Watch as The Queen of Hearts rampages around her court, the White Rabbit shimmies his tail and the Caterpillar sparkles in 16 crystal-covered pointe shoes.

The Australian Ballet’s production of Alice won the 2018 Helpmann Award for Best Ballet and Best Female Dancer (Ako Kondo) and was nominated in three other categories, including Best Choreography, Best Scenic Design and Best Male.

“Alice is a spectacle that pulls out all the stops. Perfect if you’ve never seen ballet before, and entertaining if you have: it’s no mere tea party.”  4 ½ stars - Sydney Morning Herald

“There’s so much to look at in this magical story; from flamingo croquet to fantastical furniture ... it's a nonsensical masterpiece." 5 Stars - Sydney Scoop

“It’s truly a Broadway-style blockbuster, given the wildly imagined costumes and character roles, immersive projections and settings” – Stage Whispers

20 February – 5 March 2024
