Andrew Strong Tickets

Earlier this year Australia welcomed ecstatic news that Irish singer Andrew Strong would be touring The Commitments and would be hitting our shores in August through till September.

Due to popular demand and a handful of sold out performances across the country in 2014, Andrew Strong is touring The Commitments and will be hitting our shores in May 2015.

Based on the 1992 Alan Parker cult classic film that was released, The Commitments is something of a rags-to-riches story that sees the group fall just short of stardom.

The movie received massive international recognition, nominated for Grammy’s and Academy Awards, and won several BAFTA’s and Brit Awards

After recent six sold out Arena shows in the UK and Ireland Andrew Strong: The Commitments Tour have recaptured the same success for their down under run and the 9-piece band will be performing all the hits that were not only made famous from the film but received incredible chart success in Australia.

Special guests on all dates is The Short Fall.  Consisting of brothers Angelo & Ryan Conway, The Short Fall are garnering a reputation as one of the most anticipated up-and-coming singer/songwriter duos coming out of Queensland. 

The Short Fall struck gold in November 2013 with their debut single ‘The Meadow’, winning the annual MusicOz Australian Independent Music Award for best acoustic singer-songwriter. This accolade kick-started them on a journey that has seen them support the likes of The Whitlams, Busby Marou, Wendy Matthews to name a few.
