  • It was good but…..

    It was good, but there was a few things that could have been better. Firstly, Andy stood at the far end (left if you are looking at him from the audience) and straight on, which is great if you’re close to him or standing at the bar, but the viewers on the far right couldn’t see his hand work, which is really why I was there. A simple turn of 45 degrees would have solved it. Secondly, the promotion was sold as a unique experience where each show would have a new story but in reading the reviews, it was the same. I don’t mind, but it wasn’t what was offered either.

    We thoroughly enjoyed the Evening with Andy Summers...a fabulous musician with interesting stories to share. My wife, a Police fan could have stayed all night listening to his music. The venue was superb, the sound was perfect. A great evening.!!

    I had a wonderful evening seeing Andy Summers. The Police were an obsession, when I was 14 years old. Andy was charming, funny & a great guitarist. He still got it! Great venue too.

    Another excellent service experience with Ticketmaster. I particularly appreciated being sent the tickets the day before for immediate access from my Ticketmaster app & phone wallet. Unfortunately the show itself was a boring washout which I score at 1 out of 10.

    Bit disappointed. Andy was not on song. Just doodled on the guitar, didn’t even try any of the classic Police licks or how he created them. Tivoli was great as usual though.

    Having not heard any solo work from Andy after The Police, I didn’t know what to expect. But man, I was in for a blast! Andy has become a master of his trade and that trade has extended way beyond guitar playing… Which of course he does incredibly well! The way he presented his newer creations intertwined with pictures and stories made them even more enjoyable and engaging. Definitely hope he’d stay in Melbourne, or at least come back soon.
