  • Perfect Family Show!

by Mai on 23/4/25Capitol Theatre, Sydney - HaymarketRating: 5 out of 5

I've always loved Annie - the nostalgic feeling I get when she started singing "Tomorrow"just hits different. It was full of hope and emotion. Although, the start of the play was a bit of slow, like I felt like the scene moved a little sluggish, but then it made up after a few scenes and picked up and ending with a great finish. I must say Rooster Harrigan is an absolute scene stealer. the voice and the dance and the vibe. *clap*clap* All in all, the show was a great way to spend Easter Sunday. Heartwarming and I left the theatre humming the song over and over.

  • Great show and Venues always! Poor service though.

by PS on 21/4/25Capitol Theatre, Sydney - HaymarketRating: 5 out of 5

I have been many shows at Capital theatre for the last 2 decades. I always spend a lot on all the merchandise. Last night the staff who served me at the counter made me feel very uncomfortable. She was not friendly , no smile , no personality , not welcoming, she made me feel I am bothering her. Staff is not interested in working in retail should not work in customer based setting, poor service is what they are offering and ruin the reputation of the event and capital theatre.

  • Excellent night out with the family

by Cathy on 14/4/25Capitol Theatre, Sydney - HaymarketRating: 5 out of 5

I had seen 3 previous productions of Annie in Sydney with my eldest daughter and was delighted to be able to attend this production with the whole family including grandchildren. This performance met our expectations with a brilliant cast, new digital sets and a wonderful band. This show never gets old and each production exceeds the last. I look forward to future productions so that I can introduce more of my grandchildren to the joy of musical theatre as they reach an age to appreciate it.
