About

Diamond certified and award-winning artist The Weeknd announced 2024 dates in Australia as an extension of his record-breaking 2022/2023 After Hours Til Dawn Tour.

Produced by Live Nation, the newly announced Australia dates will kick off on Saturday, October 5 in Melbourne with back-to-back shows before heading to Sydney with shows on October 22 and 23 at Accor Stadium. These dates mark The Weeknd's debut stadium performances in Australia and his first return to the region since 2017. Mike Dean, Chxrry22 and Sydney’s own Anna Lunoe will join as support on the four Australia dates.

“I feel a strong pull to perform in Australia before moving on to the next chapter and want to make sure you all know I hadn't forgotten about you. When I return now, it will be the right time, and I promise it will be such a special experience. I can’t wait to see you all!” says The Weeknd.

I'll admit that I did not know the full catalogue of his songs, but what a voice and boy can he put on a show!! It just made for an amazing night and memories that I will have forever, would happily see him again!!

  • the weekend concert melbourne

by aysan on 7/10/24Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 5 out of 5

concert experience so good sounds were high quality and good view from every seat ,seats built well and in entry not big line to wait and easy to go inside. just concert was bit short which i had higher expectations, it started 9 till 10:45 not even 11.

  • Amazing

by Maddy on 7/10/24Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 5 out of 5

Was an amazing show when it finally started haha he didn’t come on till 8:50 but it was still an amazing show. 10/10 would recommend and would go again.

  • The venue arrangement and performance time are very poor

by Rico on 7/10/24Rating: 1 out of 5

I had the second most expensive ticket at L1. My view was blocked by the platform above me, and the stage in the middle was very high, so I could hardly see it. Regarding the show time, the ticket said it would start at 7 o'clock, but the actual show didn't start until 9 o'clock. The arrangement was very problematic. I could tell that weekend worked very hard. I don't know if the staff printed the wrong time or were late. The actual show time was very short.

  • Awesome experience, The Weeknd rocked Marvel Stadium

by Jackie on 7/10/24Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 5 out of 5

Awesome, incredible concert. Only drawback, a girl near me was vaping, no idea how she got that in, considering security had baggage checked.

  • Best ever!!

by Natasha on 7/10/24Rating: 5 out of 5

What an incredible night with Abel! This man can sing! It was so touching to see him smile and acknowledge his fans and try his best to liven the crowd. Would watch the show 10 times over!

  • Best

by TJ on 7/10/24Rating: 5 out of 5

Literally the best you could go to well worth it 100%

  • Well Managed but Could Improve

by KeithM on 6/10/24Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 4 out of 5

The entrance and scanning etc was easy. Security brief and thorough. Good Beverage and food options. A bit pricey like all venues at the moment. But was was disappointing was the lack of control on vaping. Lots a vapers vaping openly in the stadium and no security in sight. I informed the staff and nothing was done about it. So you can't take a backpack into the stadium with just a water bottle but can take vapes in a handbag!!!! I think its almost time we have better checking or maybe sniffer dogs at venues to control this

  • so bad

by Eric on 6/10/24Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 1 out of 5

I feel that this concert was a failure because I started queuing outside the venue at 3:00 pm and stood there until 5:00 pm before entering. However, the ticket said that the concert would start at 7:00 pm, but the main actors didn't come out until 8:50 pm. From 7:00 to 9:00 pm, there was always all kinds of background music, which everyone found boring. We, the audience, waited too long in the venue, and there was no water or snacks. I went to the concert yesterday afternoon, and because I stood for too long, I strained my lumbar muscles. I'm now in the hospital for treatment. I don't want to go to any concert again.

  • Event wasn’t very organised

by Kiki on 6/10/24Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 2 out of 5

The concert I went to had very little info about the starting times and the other info about the venue making it very stressful all the information I knew was from my own research

  • Overpriced

by Jack on 6/10/24Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 2 out of 5

The weekend himself was really good but the whole set up was not, kinda seems like it was organised last minute and the stage set up was poor so half the time u couldn’t see him and just had to watch it off the big screen.

  • Letdown

by steve on 6/10/24Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 1 out of 5

It was a letdown and it was very half asked very disappointed still sang amazing but the vibes were not in

  • Great singing but disappointing show

by Lolo on 6/10/24Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 4 out of 5

The Weeknd singing was superb but the stage with a two storey square "castle"at the end of the catwalk obstructed visibility of the artist when he's on the other side and the ending somewhat fizzled with no good night thank you message at the end and things just went silent but stadium lights didn't come on for a while leaving a lot of people around us were wondering if that's the end or if there's an encore. Comparing to other concerts like Bruno Mars or Ed Sheeran, it had a fizzled ending instead of on a high to leave us with.

  • Short concert

by Ariel on 6/10/24Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 3 out of 5

The concert was not long . Considering his two extra supporting acts were a no show would think the concert will be longer. It was shortest concert I have ever attended. He did not sing all his songs.

  • the worst experience

by ay on 6/10/24Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 1 out of 5

overpriced tickets, and the screen broke half way through the show

  • Best experience ever

by Trinity on 6/10/24Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 5 out of 5

This was the best concert ever I’m so happy i got to go totally worth the price
