About

Global rock superstars Green Day – Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool – return to Australia on their massive 2024/25 global stadium tour, The Saviors Tour.

In their biggest live undertaking to date, the band has confirmed they will play Dookie and American Idiot in full, along with tracks from the new album Saviors and cuts from their vast collection of hits. Special guest is revered Californian rockers, AFI, who make a welcome return to Australia for the first time since 2017.

The Saviors Tour kicks off at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on March 1, followed by Engie Stadium in Sydney on March 3, and concluding at CBUS Super Stadium, Gold Coast on March 5.

The tour will be a larger-than-life, career-spanning celebration of one of the biggest musical acts of all time and some of the most important albums in history. This year marks the 30th anniversary of Green Day’s 1994 certified Diamond album, Dookie, and the 20th anniversary of 2004’s juggernaut, American Idiot. Each a cultural phenomenon in its own right, these albums have remained at the forefront of punk culture since their release. With blazing guitars and electrifying vocals, Green Day are ready to bring their mind-blowing collection of hits to stadiums across the country, along with plenty of new additions from Saviors.

  • Great venue

by blue on 8/3/25ENGIE Stadium - Olympic ParkRating: 4 out of 5

Definitely need to only have 1 event on at a time- public transport can't cope

  • Great Concert!

by Jodie CS on 5/3/25Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 5 out of 5

Green Day put on a good show at Marvel Stadium. We had issues purchasing tickets at first - we tried to buy tickets for the Gold Coast show but the website kept freezing, so we decided to buy tickets for the Melbourne concert instead and didn't encounter any issues. Travel to Marvel Stadium by tram is so easy and it was a really quick security check as we entered the stadium. It's a great stadium - facilities and bars are easily accessible and there weren't really any queues. Food and beverage options were pretty good. We enjoyed the second Act - AFI, but weren't too impressed with the first supporting act. Green Day, however, performed for two and a half hours and we really enjoyed the night!

  • Awsome green day

  • FANTASTIC BAND

by Maxi on 5/3/25ENGIE Stadium - Olympic ParkRating: 5 out of 5

Green Day were Great as Always. I feel sorry for the youth of today who can only see favourite artists in stadiums like the Engie, where unless you managed to get close to the stage, you have to be satisfied looking at the act on the monitors. Can't help but miss the old Horden Pavilion and the Entertainment centres, where you could clearly see and enjoy the performance. I saw GREEN DAY over 20yrs ago many times in different Aussie states & venues....a completely satisfying experience, Engie...Never Again!!!

  • Amazing

by Keahi on 5/3/25ENGIE Stadium - Olympic ParkRating: 5 out of 5

I had the best experience ever it was amazing first time in Sydney for a concert. The new GD Album Sounds AMAZING. Wish I could meet the Green Day. Some of the songs made me choke up a little bit because it struck a chord with me back when i had bad depression and the American Idiot album saved me, if it wasn’t for Green Day I wouldn’t be here today! Love all the green day songs from some songs from the new album. By by by Ruby I lost my voice and that is a good sign that I love green day . I was happy that the mosh pits weren’t too crowded, cause if it was packed I would be scared that I would injured my back mild Scoliosis! Have been seeing Green Day since 2008 Wish I could give you 10⭐️ rating Billie and Mike adorable

  • Three stars

by Black rose on 4/3/25ENGIE Stadium - Olympic ParkRating: 3 out of 5

The concert itself was magnificent as green day is a terrific band. Love the fireworks at the end!!. however my ticket seats were moved with notice by email which was ok about but when I got there I was placed in front of a lighting stand and wasn’t able to see Green day although I was able to see them on the tvs on the sides. Which I was disappointed in ticket master I will be going with a different ticket site to perches other tickets

  • Well oiled machine

by Seanym on 4/3/25Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 5 out of 5

Green day have their show running like clockwork and did everything right to get the crowd eating out of the palm of their hand. On the downside the show was more or less the same as it has been all over the world with very little deviation (if any) from the standard set list. Very little personalisation either but could not fault their performance. Was disappointed with the venue, was a real bottleneck as people left the venue and rather than make the 'Victory Room' a place where fans could debrief and reminisce about the show they had just seen the venue for some unknown reason decided to have no tables or stools out for fans to stand at and totally closed the outdoor area. Was a massive missed opportunity and something that was super handy and needed at the pearl jam concert back in November. Great show otherwise.

  • well organized but the stage was a bit too low

by L Fernando on 4/3/25ENGIE Stadium - Olympic ParkRating: 2 out of 5

If we talk about the event’s organization, it was incredible—entry, directions, restrooms, food court, etc. The screens and sound were great too. However, the stage was too low, and people in the General Admission area ended up watching the show through the screens. It was disappointing to go to a concert of my favorite band and not be able to see the stage properly.

  • Green Day! Absolutely fantastic!

by EK on 4/3/25Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 5 out of 5

THANK YOU, Green Day, for your amazing energy! You belted out an incredible show. The best thing was being able to share this experience with my teenage son. Fans for life!!! .. XO
