FRED FALKE LIVE

Friday January 23

BOYS NOIZE RECORDS
Labeled the Ed Banger of Germany, Boys Noize Records (established by Alex Rihda aka Boys Noize and Kid Alex) is at the forefront of electronic music for generation Y. Boys Noize Records is a trendsetter, a pacesetter and innovator releasing some the most up front, coolest music around, signing The Faint, D.I.M, Shadowdancer and of course, head honcho, Boys Noize.

D.I.M (Boys Noize Records)
Andreas Meid, D.I.M. to you and me, produced two of the best tracks of 2007, Airbus' and 'Sysiphos' on Turbo Records. Everyone from Sven Vath to Justice loves his stuff, not to mention his production partner Boys Noize (together they make PUZIQUe). Having remixed The Presets, Chromeo, Midnight Juggernauts, Teenage Bad Girl, Fischerspooner and Franz & Shape, he is one of the most in demand remixes around.. He's just released "Is You" on BNR, Brodinski on the remix, with support from the Ed Banger crew, Erol Alkan and 2 Many DJs. Name drop extraordinaire. Be prepared when D.I.M hit the stage and rock out their incredible live show.

FRED FALKE (France)
You probably know him best for his production work including the classic INTRO and smoking remixes for the likes of Goldfrapp, Eric Prydz, Pnau, Lykke Li, Hot Chip and Kelis, so this is a rare opportunity to catch Fred Falke as a performer. With a new solo EP, Music For My Friends just out on vinyl, Fred is ready to flex some muscle and show off his prowess behind the decks and on the bass. That's right, Mr Falke was originally a funk bass player before his own 'digital revolution', so really you can expect a little bit of everything at this show. If the thought of being separated from his usual posse is all too much for this French national, he can hold the hands of any of the other. It's not quite croissants at the Louvre, but this slice of French culture won't go to your thighs.

Nick Foley & Generik, Harris Robotis, Agent 86 and Dave Maslen.
