Just need to put more signs up to show you the grandstand seats and entry
First time to a Supercars race and it was better than I expected. Lots of different vantage points. Great location, easy to access using free public transport. Would’ve liked more coffee / tea type purchase options. Concert experience afterwards topped off an amazing day.
The actual race? Fantastic. The lack of cleaners in the GA area , I’m writing this as I didn’t see any at all! They used to be around constantly and yes I did bin my own rubbish, but many ppl didn’t. The sprint cars? To see them you had to walk across the track! Not an easy feat going up and down those stairs with heart issues I can tell you. They would have been better on the track where EVERYONE could see them. The concert area….don’t get me started! For someone with heart failure I found it very hard to walk from near gate 6 to gate 1. Maybe in future you might think about ppl who aren’t as healthy as what they were 40 years ago! The exit at Gate 1? Please tell me where I was supposed to go to catch the free bus back to the railway station? There were no directions and I had absolutely NO sense of direction to know what way the city was. The Taxi driver that I asked to take me to the above station was rude and refused to take me to “such a short ride”. The next taxi driver refused because “ the 1st one should have taken you”. This is all as a 65 year old women with heart failure and not feeling very well at all left the concert area as she felt very unwell. Medical? Ummm where? Again I had no idea. I went down the line of taxis where one finally asked me if he could help, took me to the railway station for the $20 fare and got another fare straight away, instead of sittin* in a line waiting. I hope his night was good for him. The train ride home? Absolutely fantastic. A 15 minute wait and we were on our way. So I hope you take note, it’s not all healthy young ppl that enjoy the event. Please cater for all next time. Should the event be the same next year I will no longer attend. I have been coming here for years and did wish to continue but not like this, definitely not like this. Thank you.
All good until leaving the after race concert on Sunday. Had to walk half way around the track to leave! Please leave more gates open for people to leave at closer exits. I saw two people with disabilities who were exhausted because they had to walk so far! And for the general public as well. Thx
All good except not enough toilets ! Blokes only need long outdoor troughs and a hand wash station to free up the portables for women and no twos. Sound waves and The Big Day out had it covered as I remember. The bars and entertainment areas need a way better set up to cover the bigger crowds in the afternoon and nights. Everything else was bloody great 👍 well done it was awesome!
I had a amazing time seeing super Jesus and cold chisel but was little annoyed bout not being prompted to upgrade my tickets when I originally paid for them , myself and my friend got to the concert area and she noticed the barrier chopping us out of bring able to see Jimmy Barnes up close like many artist we've seen over the years , and my friend is a Mega fan of Jimmy she was fairly crushed bout having to be 60 or more metres back and no closer, the problem I have is where the ticket upgrade option was in the menue seperate from the one the tickets get ordered on, if there had of been an option to upgrade in the general ticket purchase screen I know I would have made sure she was in that zone , Jimmy is and was still flat out awesome and we had a great time 😊
The event was great, our seats were great and we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. The only downfall was the Electronic Ticketing. Great idea to get everyone through the gates quickly on arrival however once in, there needs to be some other system, either wrist bands or similar so when passing out into the general public area to look at all the side attractions you don't have to keep pulling your phone out to show your ticket. I know I wasn't the only one frustrated with this. But this issue aside, a great event, thank you.
Very good, just bugged out with our paddock passes but it got fixed after maybe 5 minutes. Other than that, flawless.
Positives - The children's area was a success with the little ones. Food venders were plentiful and diverse. More shaded areas for food consumption would be welcome. Service at the Bars was excellent, the staff were polite and friendly. Generally things ran quite well. Negatives - The toilet amenities were disgraceful. By the afternoon the toilets surrounding the Concert/Bar area weren't cleaned or emptied regularly enough to maintain a good level of Hygiene. The smell at times was unbearable for most of the racegoers. There wasn't enough toilets to cater for the massive crowd that attended the concerts. At one stage we the public were walking through sewerage from overflowed or blocked toilets. Installing more urinals for males would reduce the load on the unisex cubicles making them more assessable for the females.
We went for a half the day. There was a lot going on, and the set up was differeent.Ut was a lot of fun. The unfortunate part was around concert time, finding out the only way you could get close to the stage was by paying an extra $30 on top of your ticket etc. It wasn't something that was overly obvious when paying for the initial tickets.
Fantastic day. Lots of entertainment. Plenty of options for food and drink. Lots of good viewing areas.
I was disappointed with the public transport situation. After the event 10.30 at night I walked about 30min to get to the O-Bahn bus. Could you not do like shuttle bus service like Adelaide Oval Express
I purchased 4 tickets and had no problems transferring to family and friends which allowed us to meet at different times inside the event. Excellent.
What a show. Adelaide’s own Superjesus cranked up the energy with The Cruel Sea spiking it up with their raw Aussie tunes. Cold Chisel made it set point with one of the most memorable shows of my life. Jimmy has a voice like no other, Mossy was amazing on the strings. Amazing
Everything was fairly seamless to access except for the pit pass which took a while to work out. Other than that it was a brilliant event.
Had some trouble scanning bar code at times. Also paid for coldchisel tickets not knowing that they where included in the price of the grandstand tickets.
We only went on the Saturday for the Raceday but found it to be a great event as always . We have come to the circuit since the Grand Prix started all those years ago .We haven’t come every year but have experience many and the organisation is always first class . I think value for money is excellent . I did miss to see the old cars this time as they were a fair way from pit straight but it’s not a biggie ! Catering was prolific and well done 😀
Having to exit past the entry points to get to the toilets was a pain, as searching on my phone for the ticket was time consuming and also using unnecessary charge to get back in. If all tickets were on a lanyards may have been ok. Also male toilets need entry and exit doors like previous years.
Absolutely loved the experience, however the toilets were absolutely disgusting! Leaking, filthy and to top it off a complete lack of toilet paper. Loved Crowded House!!!!!
