FAQS

The Brisbane International is an elimination tennis tournament. Tickets are sold to sessions of the Brisbane International, rather than to watch a particular match or player, so it is not possible to purchase tickets in advance for a specific player.

As it is an elimination tournament, a schedule for each day cannot be announced until the night prior. You can find the schedule and order of play on the Brisbane International website. Remember, the schedule and order of play is subject to change at any time. Tennis tournaments are, at times, unpredictable and unavoidable events can occur. It all adds to the thrill and suspense of the Brisbane International.

There are three ways to purchase accessible seating:

  • Wheelchair and accompanying seats (either as paid tickets or with a Companion Card) can be purchased via the Ticketmaster website. In the seat selection page, please use the ‘View Only Accessible Tickets’ toggle or the ‘Ticket Type’ filter to view available accessibility seating options.
  • Ticketmaster phone line 1300 446 925, Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm (AEDT).
  • Submit an Accessibility form online.

All patrons aged 12 years old and over must have the appropriate form of concession to purchase a concession reserved seat ticket. They must present the relevant concession documentation at the point of purchase and upon entry into the event.

The following are accepted forms of concession for the purchase of tickets:

  • Student Cards: Full-time secondary students, full-time tertiary students;
  • Pensioner Concession Card: Aged (AGE), Bereavement Allowance (BVA), Carer (CAR), Aged Blind (AGE BLIND), Parenting Payment (single) (PPS), Disability Support Pension (DSP), Disability Support Blind (DSP Blind), Partner Allowance (PTA), Sickness Allowance (SAL), Special Benefit (SPL), Widow Allowance (WDA), Widow Pension (WID), Wife Pension (WFA/WFD/WFW), Newstart Allowance over 60 years, (NSW/NMA) Mature Age Allowance (MAA), Mature Age Partner Allowance (MPA), Newstart Allowance (NSA), Parenting Payment (PPP/PPS);
  • Veteran Affairs and TPI;
  • Health Care Cards: Exceptional Circumstances Relief (DR), Sickness Allowance (SA), Special Benefit (SL), Farm Help Income Support (FFR), Newstart Allowance (NS), Youth Allowance (YA), Newstart Mature Age Allowance (NMA), Parenting Payment (single) (PPS), Low Income (LI), Carer Allowance (CD), Partner Allowance (PA), Mobility Allowance (MO), and Widow Assistance (FA), Family Assistance (FA), Child Disability Allowance (CDA); and Personal Treatment Entitlement Card: Must be current.

Children aged 3-11 as at the date a ticket is presented for entry at the event may purchase a Kids Ticket. Children aged 2 and under as at the date a ticket is presented for entry at the Event may enter at no charge, provided they do not occupy a reserved seat.

  • Not value for money on our day

    by Tennis fan on 18/1/25Queensland Tennis Centre - TennysonRating: 2 out of 5

    General disorganisation on 6th Jan. Only saw one match instead of 3 due to poor organising and lateness of starts and reschedules. Paid $400 for one full game. Aware things are sometimes out of the organisers control but this was not the case . Not great sadly.

  • Great energy and atmosphere

    by Stel on 7/1/25Queensland Tennis Centre - TennysonRating: 5 out of 5

    I attended Twilight final sessions I really enjoyed the atmosphere and positive energy - fun,, getting audience involved. Food choice was good, is expensive but it is always haha. I appreciated seeing police there also for security, we live in a wired world and is good to see that there was that attention to detail for the event. I am most grateful for the wether, it was so pleasant ! If i would suggest one thing for future, but not sure if that is viable, but having train tracks/train breaks serviced (haha) so they dont squeak that loud during the match, would be really nice - I feel Brisy is such a modern small city and that noise during the game makes us look a bit off hahah. Thank you for great organisation of the event ❤️ Looking forward to the next year’s one ❤️

  • Schedule Change

    by JH on 6/1/25Queensland Tennis Centre - TennysonRating: 3 out of 5

    The experience overall was great. However we booked flights, tickets, and accommodation according to the information provided that the first round of the tournament would be played over 2 days and nights. When we arrived on the 29th December the tournament changed its schedule to have the first round of matches played over 3 days instead of 2. As a result we missed seeing Novak Djokovic playing singles which was the point of our trip so we were frustrated. Apart from this the tournament was nice. The first day had some disappointing matches but luckily we could see Novak practice. In future please don’t change the schedule so late because people plan their trips according to schedule. Thanks

  • goodExperience

    by Janne on 2/1/25Queensland Tennis Centre - TennysonRating: 4 out of 5

    Tickets appeared on my computer, but getting them on my phone turned out complicated. Luckily at the ven ue's ticket office very nice staff helped immediately and gave me paper tickets for 5 of us, rather than trying to get them all together on one phone. It worked out fine, b ut I wish Ticketmaster would get back to an earlier version of getting tickets by letting us print them from our computer. 5 stars for the wonderful help at the ticket office and 3 starts for the computer experience = 4 Stars

  • Quite good

    by Bob on 1/1/25Queensland Tennis Centre - TennysonRating: 4 out of 5

    Great experience,totally enjoyed Only negative were the volunteer officials that think they work for tennis Australia and enjoy bossing patrons around.they need to be reminded that the public are pay customers and need to be treated as such. But overall a very enjoyable experience I would recommend it to everyone

  • Disappointing

    by Robbo on 1/1/25Queensland Tennis Centre - TennysonRating: 3 out of 5

    Tennis was good. Great stadium. Food we had was awful. No way to sell spare ticket. Great array of players. Everything very expensive. Awful quality/designed merch.
