BULLHORN are hitting the stage at Brisbane's new Princess Theatre to launch their new single and video, Nation Am I.

Joining on stage will be the incredible talent of Sahara Beck and Anthony Forrest. 

Nation Am I @ Smoked Garage is Bullhorn’s fourth Music Video from their new Live On Location series where beautiful locations in their home city of Brisbane, Australia are showcased to their wider audience. For this release Bullhorn is serving up the location of Smoked Garage in Fortitude Valley, a motorcycle repair shop meets bar with industrial rustic stylings, lights and retro theme.

The single, Nation Am I, will be featured on Bullhorn’s upcoming album to be released late 2022. The track and clip opens with an Afrobeat percussion groove, including guests Bobby Alu & Zaynab Wilson. They set the tempo for the incredible Afro Cuban Dance crew. and the entrance of Roman MC, Bullhorn’s indomitable front man. 

The song itself explores the idea that each person is a community of people unto themselves; who they are today, tomorrow, and every day into the years ahead across a lifetime. And how best to serve that community? What does it mean to do what is best for ‘you’? Which ‘you’ will you serve, the you that is today or the you of tomorrow? ‘Nation Am I’’ acknowledges and celebrates the liberation of every individual who rises to show up for their community, including the community of themselves across time, while alluding to the joy that is intrinsically bound to the act of showing up for others.

Featuring a cultural blend of rap, toasting and even some kreol language (of the small nation of Seychelles, where Roman MC’s family hails from), Nation Am I also showcases the cultural blend that has influenced the vocal stylings of Bullhorn’s lead MC as well as a peek at the thriving creative community of Brisbane. This song encourages and challenges each individual listener to recognise the power and potential that resides within themselves, and the liberation that is found through showing up in life.
