This dynamic quartet weaves together the sun-drenched essence of their coastal hometown into an irresistible tapestry of sound, marrying surf-soaked guitars with indie pop melodies that captivate the spirit of good vibes.

Embracing a mid- to up-tempo groove, Calypso Cora draws inspiration from Brit rock and ska reggae, weaving heart-pounding riffs with dreamy soundscapes. Their debut single “Lilies”, released Dec 2023 garnered immediate attention, as did their second single release “Chasing Catfish”, both tunes a testament to the band's ability to craft catchy singalongs.

Since the release of "Lilies", Calypso Cora has been captivating audiences around Australia, performing at Nannup Festival in WA, and supporting Xavier Rudd at sold out shows in Fremantle Prison and at The Greenroom in Byron Bay. They also recently shared the stage with The Cat Empire and Thundamentals at the Teneriffe Festival in Brisbane.

Now, in 2024, Calypso Cora will support Xavier Rudd on his entire Freedom Sessions Australian Tour.
