Cold Chisel will celebrate 50 years together with a truly unique tour … “The Big Five-0”
“The Big Five-0” will be a night like no other. This time, the band isn’t touring to promote a new album; they are touring for the best possible reason … “because we all love playing gigs together”. Their anniversary provides scope for a show that features all the classic songs with which Cold Chisel carved their unique place in Oz Rock history - Khe Sanh, Bow River, Flame Trees, You Got Nothin’ I Want, When The War Is Over, My Baby, Cheap Wine, All For You, Choir Girl, Last Wave Of Summer, Saturday Night, Breakfast At Sweethearts, Forever Now and so many more.
The Cold Chisel story has stretched from Armidale and Adelaide in 1974 to three new gold and platinum albums over the last dozen years, winning the band multiple generations of fans. Their most recent release - 2019’s Blood Moon - topped the charts and its lead single, Getting The Band Back Together, won the APRA Award for Australia’s Most Performed Rock Work.
As the accolades have piled up - ARIA Hall Of Fame, APRA’s Ted Albert Award, an Adelaide Street named in their honour, even their own postage stamp - Cold Chisel has come to understand the special place their music now occupies in Australasian hearts. “The Big Five-0” will be a rare chance for fans of all ages to see the band in action and sing their songs to them one more time. Don Walker summed it up succinctly, “This 50th anniversary tour will be a huge celebration - for all of us.”

Awesome concert but there's a need for more toilets to save queuing up during the show
Well produced and traffic control was very well executed
Never been so happy too see a band live . Never seen Chisel live before and they did not disappoint . Great line up for support acts as well Great night even if it did pelt down with rain in October in Perth .. what the ?? Thanks again Jimmy Mossy and Gang
Whilst the concert was awesome, due to the rain, it started late and finished on time, so we missed out in some of the set, as songs were taken out. It's advertised as playing rain hail or shine, it should do the full concert in rain hail or shine and start in time and do the full set. Something should be set up at the concert to provide extra shelter for the band area to allow them to start on time and safely. Short changed on the concert.
It was Wet, cold and long delays between artists because of the weather. Maybe next time we will be better prepared and stay and see Cold Chisel.
Great concert it’s a shame it rain all night Good food and drink choice. Had a great night I would have love to bring my umbrella in just for when it was pouring down . I have to leave my 3 umbrellas out the front And then at the end of concert they just laid them all out and someone picked mine up Where they should of put my name on those to pick up from a secure spot at end of concert
Getting to and from the event was good with the buses but the emails from ticketmaster said that there wasn't any parking at the event. This was clearly false as people were parking there. We got soaked from the rain but that is always a possibility with outdoor events. There was only one vendor selling hot drinks and our friends had to wait for an hour to get a cuppa!
I’m sure they would have been fantastic as always, but due to the weather at Sandalford winery in Perth on Sunday , we decided to leave before they started like many others who also were leaving. I know it said that the concert would go ahead rain hail or shine but it was the wind that picked up as it was pouring down that was the deciding factor for a lot of us who were already soaking wet to leave. Expensive lesson learnt
If they are going to advertise to play rain hail or shine then play rain hail or shine and not keep delaying it due to the rain
This concert should have been rescheduled due to the absolutely disgusting weather. We left at 4pm before chisel even came on. We love their music but could sit around waiting for another three hours. Also thought there was a high possibility it would be cancelled to protect the bands equipment from the rain. Hope the people who stayed had fun but we didn’t fancy getting pneumonia.
It was an amazing day of music by amazing Aussie bands, giving us there all and playing brilliant Aussie rock. The constant rain didn't stop us the punters from enjoying the music and artists showed their appreciation by giving us 100%. Cold Chisel were so good, to see Ian Moss and Jimmy Barnes the songs we all loved live was a once in a lifetime experience. One of the best concerts I've been to.
Everything went great, however the rain and extreme weather conditions, even though prepared, in the end beat me. Didn't even experience The Chisel Boy's, it was just too much. I had to beat a retreat, along with many others.........so sorry The Weather!!!!!!!
Chisel rock, there's no denying that. This was a visceral show that you could feel as well as see. We were at the 2nd Sydney show in the tent, and while the vibe was great, the A and B block "premium"seating that was expensive was not raked, so we were on the ground, looking up at the stage. We were towards the back of the B block and when the people in A block (some wearing sombreros from their meal at El Camino) all stood up in their seats, it meant that B block had to as well, in order to see. The accessible seating area was behind us, and although their area was raised, I don't believe that they can have seen the show. This was the most I've ever paid for concert tickets and if I'd wanted to stand for 2 hours, I would have bought general admission.
Always a great festival and awesome vibe !! Epic Show that Cold Chisel put on and boy didn't Mossy lap up every moment!!
OMG was one of the best concerts they have done .They have still got it. Can’t wait for the next one 😍
Great artists and venue. Seating arrangements very disappointing people with high chairs allowed to sit in the lower event chair patrons area there was no set areas. Events held at Kings Park have designated areas for lower back chairs and high back chairs.
Absolutely amazing day with all bands nailing the entertainment brief and then Cold Chisel the icing on the cake. Great atmosphere and would recommend to anyone to attend any concert there.
The Cold Chisel concert was fantastic and well organised. Afterwards there was absolute chaos and very difficult to find our bus going home
very well organised big thanks to bus west cold chisel definitely entertained us all good a bit pricey my bottle of sandleford wine very good
Great concert. Great time. Minor problem getting in, ticket didn't work. Fortunately wise attendant said obviously bought a ticket (2) so go on through. No it wasn't a screen shot, it was the ticket. Didn't spoil the day though. Had a top time.
