  • Overpriced Grandstands with no shelter from the heat or rain

by Nigel B on 25/3/25Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit - Albert ParkRating: 3 out of 5

Getting tickets for the Australian Grand Prix 2025 was very difficult and stressful even in the ballot presale. All tickets were shown as 'in demand' so dynamic pricing meant you had no choice but to pay well over the advertised price. Transport to gate 1 from Southern cross by tram worked well with few queues. Leaving via gate 9, there were no signs directing you to the trams and all were full on arrival so getting home was difficult. We ended up walking. Some things had improved like more water refill stations but there were limited options for coffee with long queues. There was no shelter at the circuit or in the grandstands from the heat on Saturday and the rain on Sunday. The few covered areas had 'sail' covers so leaked! All the volunteers and staff were friendly and pleasant. I am an F1 fan and have attended the Australian GP many times but I may not bother on 2026. Sadly, the focus seems to be a money making machine with the focus on smashing record gate numbers rather than providing a good experience for those fortunate enough to be able to afford tickets.

Very expensive to be sat in the elements and most cancelled on race day. Access via trams was a sham and needs much improvement.

  • Lack of screens

by Caian on 21/3/25Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit - Albert ParkRating: 4 out of 5

Great event, but for park pass fans, there weren’t enough screens to watch the race. It felt like the organisers only cared about the grandstand attendees.

  • Good experience.......but surge pricing?

by HugeM on 20/3/25Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit - Albert ParkRating: 4 out of 5

A longish wait to get in to buy tickets, many seats already unavailable. But managed to get 4 seats approximately where I wanted them. But the worst came at the checkout, the dreaded and very expensive surge pricing. Get rid of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Too expensive, too crowded

by Mikey on 20/3/25Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit - Albert ParkRating: 2 out of 5

I was in the pre-sale for a 4 day pass. Quickly I was told Pay Pal was the preferred payment method. I use Pay Pal a lot so my laptop knows my account and I don’t have to put in a Password. I hit pay and the wheel started to spin. Within 15 seconds my request timed out and I had to start again. A minute later I opted to pay with my Credit Card and the price jumped $100 per ticket. Sunday had become so over crowded that it is not a pleasant experience with the waiting on coffee and food.

  • Excellent weekend - shame about the weather

Had a great weekend at the Melbourne Grand Prix. Easy entering, scanning phone for multiple tickets.

Very good event Thanks Need more Bridges to connect Albert Park - too congested- 30 mins to get over

  • The AGP was great fun, as always.

by AB on 18/3/25Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit - Albert ParkRating: 4 out of 5

Overall, I had a great time at the 2025 AGP. The event was well organised, however, I think that the infrastructure around the track (e.g. the number of bridges over the track) have not kept up with the increasing numbers of people attending the event. Having seen the long queues, with people waiting in either very hot or very cold conditions to cross the track, I'm sure there will be plenty of other reviews about this issue. I'm really looking forward to next year's race!

  • What a great weekend

Best seats since going to Melbourne F1 for over a decade. Still the best run event.

  • Grand Prix 2025 -Happiness in a nutshell

by Chantelle on 18/3/25Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit - Albert ParkRating: 5 out of 5

My first Grand Prix experience was the highlight of a booked holiday from Perth to Melbourne , from the transport being faultless ,and at the same time entertaining , to the event staff, the venue ,the food vendors -everything was great. I would purchase a 4 day pass again as we visited every day ,and each day was a new experience. We really enjoyed the motocross event . The main event on race day was incredible, the thrill of just being there and hearing it. It was a really wet typical Melbourne day, a sea of umbrellas and disposable poncho’s, a hot beverage in hand was a welcome treat .
