KENNY ROGERS
A ground breaking recording artist, distinctive vocalist and consummate entertainer, Kenny Rogers has enjoyed great success during his storied career of nearly five and a half decades.

He has endeared music lovers around the globe with his amazing songs, heartfelt performances and rare storytelling ability while receiving countless awards for his music and charity work, including 3 GRAMMY Awards, 18 American Music Awards, 11 People's Choice Awards, 8 Academy of Country Music Awards and 5 Country Music Association Awards. He has also received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Entertainment Buyers Association, is a recipient of the Cliffie Stone Pioneer Award from the Academy of Country Music, and was honoured with the prestigious Horatio Alger Award in 1990 as one who had distinguished themselves despite humble beginnings.

Against all odds, Kenny has charted a record in each of the last 7 decades (50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 2000's, 2010's). He has recorded 24 No. 1 songs and 12 No. 1 albums, including his Greatest Hits album, which has sold over 24 million copies worldwide.  Kenny is featured in the Top Ten list of Best Selling Male Artists of All Time, with 1 Diamond, 19 Platinum and 31 Gold albums and has worldwide album sales of more than 120 million. The first country artist to consistently sell out arenas, he has played to millions of fans around the world.

His smash hit, The Gambler, spawned five movies (starring Kenny in the title role as Brady Hawkes) to become the longest-running mini-series in the history of American television.  Rogers has published 4 books and 3 photographic collections featuring 5 Presidents, celebrities and landscapes.

His latest album, The Love Of God, which became his 21st Top 10 Country album, was a spiritual awakening for the legendary singer who first sang Amazing Grace in the church choir. 12 inspirational songs feature Kenny's serene vocals accompanied by special guests on new arrangements with sweeping strings and soaring harmonies.  Never one to rest on his laurels, Rogers recently completed his autobiography (scheduled for a Fall release) and will begin recording a new album the Summer of this year.

GLEN CAMPBELL
Glen was one of the most visible international Country stars when he hosted his own network television show for 3 years, The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour, which featured guests Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Neil Diamond and attracted weekly global audiences of 50 million.

He has 9 Grammy Awards including this year's Lifetime Achievement Award and won 4 in 1967 alone - the first artist to win the Country and Pop categories in the same year - for Gentle on My Mind and By The Time I Get To Phoenix, which along with the Most Played Song of the Millenium, Wichita Lineman, was enshrined in the Grammy Hall of Fame.  Rhinestone Cowboy is an Academy of Country Music Song of the Year.
Glen was inducted into the 2005 Country Music Hall of Fame and has received Country Music Association Entertainer & Male Vocalist of the Year awards, multiple Academy of Country Music trophies (including the prestigious Pioneer Award) and a Gospel Music Association Dove Award.

He starred alongside John Wayne in the classic film True Grit, featured on best-seller lists with Rhinestone Cowboy: An Autobiography and was named one of CMT's 40 Greatest Men in Country Music History.
As a young session guitarist in the 60's with the elite Los Angeles Wrecking Crew, Glen contributed to the hits of Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Merle Haggard, Nat King Cole, Ricky Nelson, The Righteous Brothers & The Beach Boys.  When Brian Wilson famously chose to stop touring, Glen served as his replacement on the road.
Glen's final album, Ghost on the Canvas, is a soundtrack to his colourful seventy-five years and was released to critical acclaim.   It features a celebratory jam with the guitar virtuoso and friends, including Keith Urban who was inspired to make music his career after seeing Glen in an Australian concert years earlier.
A public disclosure was made last year that Glen was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease and so far, this has not affected his performances although this tour Down Under may be his last.

You won't want to miss one sensational moment with The Gambler Kenny Rogers and Rhinestone Cowboy Glen Campbell, at the Palais Theatre in a spectacular night of hits on Thursday 23 August.
