About

Global rock superstars Green Day – Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool – return to Australia on their massive 2024/25 global stadium tour, The Saviors Tour.

In their biggest live undertaking to date, the band has confirmed they will play Dookie and American Idiot in full, along with tracks from the new album Saviors and cuts from their vast collection of hits. Special guest is revered Californian rockers, AFI, who make a welcome return to Australia for the first time since 2017.

The Saviors Tour kicks off at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on March 1, followed by Engie Stadium in Sydney on March 3, and concluding at CBUS Super Stadium, Gold Coast on March 5.

The tour will be a larger-than-life, career-spanning celebration of one of the biggest musical acts of all time and some of the most important albums in history. This year marks the 30th anniversary of Green Day’s 1994 certified Diamond album, Dookie, and the 20th anniversary of 2004’s juggernaut, American Idiot. Each a cultural phenomenon in its own right, these albums have remained at the forefront of punk culture since their release. With blazing guitars and electrifying vocals, Green Day are ready to bring their mind-blowing collection of hits to stadiums across the country, along with plenty of new additions from Saviors.

Billy Joe had the crowd singing and waving as the band went through the album.. a fabulous concert with powerful delivery and played for almost3 hours.. truly memorable night

  • Magnificent performance

by Ange on 4/3/25ENGIE Stadium - Olympic ParkRating: 5 out of 5

First time to watch Green Day, and I must say he was oozing with energy. His performance was simply incredible and was worth watching him play on stage. I have been instantly converted to a big fan of his music. Just loved it.

  • green day never fails to impress!!!!

by sammie on 4/3/25ENGIE Stadium - Olympic ParkRating: 5 out of 5

i saw Green Day last night in Sydney Australia. such an excellent night, with a fantastic atmosphere. these guys had the massive crowd in the palm of their hands, with great songs, lights and pyrotechnics. Did their research of Australian culture with the, "Aussie aussie,""oi oi", ACDC etc. their songs are so good and they play so well. professionalism at its finest. the merchandise was good quality and the food trucks provided great food. all in all it was an impressive night. i saw Green Day at Wrigley Fields in Chicago, America, last year at the beginning of the Saviours tour. i thought that concert was the best, but these guys managed to keep that supreme level of entertainment all over the world. well done Green Day and all their support guys. 10/10.

  • Overall great experience

by Sadaf on 4/3/25ENGIE Stadium - Olympic ParkRating: 3 out of 5

The show was very easy to navigate. The amenities and food options were great! However, I do believe the sound could have been better.

  • Great show, bad Audio Visuals

by DJMathew on 4/3/25ENGIE Stadium - Olympic ParkRating: 4 out of 5

Green Day was epic but the experience was tainted by the delay in video by a fraction of seconds which made the experience bad. No complaints about Green Day whatsoever ! Loved it!!

  • Awesome concert Green day best band ever 💕🙌

by Cragguss on 4/3/25Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 5 out of 5

Marvel Stadium Melbourne sure knows how to fill a concert especially when the headline is Greenday👍🙌 Amazing 3hour show by the band playing their 2 biggest albums in full Dookie & American Idiot💕 Along with other great songs and a few newbies the whole show went off and the crowd participation was simply incredible 👍🙌 Go down as one of the best concerts ever congrats to all involved well worth the hype 👍💕

  • An explosive experience

by Cranky on 4/3/25ENGIE Stadium - Olympic ParkRating: 5 out of 5

Green Day easily tops my list of live experiences. You can tell they've been in this game for many, many years as they know how to put an incredible show on.

  • Green Day still have it

by Steve on 4/3/25ENGIE Stadium - Olympic ParkRating: 4 out of 5

Green Day rocked Engerie Stadium on Monday night like it was 20 years ago. A display of punk rock for the ages.

  • Concert was great seats were terrible

by Aj on 4/3/25ENGIE Stadium - Olympic ParkRating: 3 out of 5

Amazing concert , got in at presale paid 800 for 2 tickets and couldn't see the artists as the sound desk tent obstructed our view as it was set smack bang in the centre of the arena ( as most are ) , but I feel the seats were had should not have been sold at all let alone that price . So for future reference anyone looking at sitting in the middle at the back make sure you are up high.

  • Green Day are timeless!

    by keepdriblin51 on 4/3/25Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 5 out of 5

Rocking out like they're still in their 20's, Green Day put on an incredible show playing Dookie and American Idiot in full plus some of their new stuff and classic hits. They barely took a breath as they went through their catalogue and didn't mess around at all. Hope they keep coming back!

  • Great

by Bomber on 3/3/25Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 5 out of 5

  • Friggin amazing!!!

by Tijim on 3/3/25Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 5 out of 5

WOW what a concert... Billy Joe, Mike & Tre still have all the energy that they had 30yrs ago! Was totally amazed how these guys in their early 50's can still leap etc. Billy Joe is absolutely amazing at getting the fans really into it, the band hasn't lost it and Billys vocal note range, well he's still got! I'm in my 60's and went GA I was really getting into it with the singing and move!!! The 2.5hrs they're on stage for they don't even take a break... pure professionals!!!

  • Green Day Melbourne

by Bendigo Lioness on 3/3/25Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 5 out of 5

Probably one of THE BEST concerts ever. Both support acts were first class. Green Day themselves were incredible! First class musicians, great vocals, visually stunning staging, good audience interaction, fun all round. Safe for kids, great crowd & perfect weather. 10/10

  • A perfect family big day out

by Mr Steve on 2/3/25Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 5 out of 5

Easy parking and access, an amazing show in a top venue.

  • Green Day + AFI were a knockout

    by Mike B on 2/3/25Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 4 out of 5

Green Day and AFI both played stellar sets. Easily 5 stars for both. But this loses a star for Live Nation’s involvement. They tried to be sneaky and price gouge fans using dynamic pricing until word started spreading via mainstream media and social media (thanks Betoota Advocate for roasting them) and they quietly removed it. So sneaky and no doubt they’ll try again. Golden circle has also become a joke, half the floor? Instead of a quarter now? For the most expensive tickets. General admission views aren’t worth golden circle pricing. Live Nation is quickly becoming the next corporate entity after Spotify to ruin music

  • Superb performance and great venue!

    by Cathy F on 2/3/25Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 5 out of 5

Relentless energy from Green Day in perfect conditions at the fabulous Marvel Stadium. Amazing night!

  • Great, except for transfer rules.

by Tubster on 2/3/25Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 4 out of 5

All information/communication was great. The only issue is expecting "everyone"to have a ticketmaster account, in order to transfer the ticket to them.

  • Unbelievable

by Jazza on 2/3/25Rating: 5 out of 5

This show is a Green Day Fans heaven I was at the Melbourne show and it was unbelievable The interaction, the balloons, and most importantly the songs They spared no expense in making every song as entertaining as possible Dookie and American idiot in full is probably something we will never see again If your still on the teetering edge of getting tickets What are you doing buy them and go It’s well worth the price

  • Very easy process

    by Marcel K on 2/3/25Marvel Stadium - DocklandsRating: 5 out of 5

Streamlined process, tickets easily accessible and have absolutely no issues. Five star thankyou 🙂
