ABOUT
THE TONY®, GRAMMY®, OLIVIER & PULITZER PRIZE WINNING MUSICAL.
A revolutionary story of passion, unstoppable ambition, and the dawn of a new nation.
“A theatrical landmark, that transformed theatre, and the way we think about history” - The New York Times
HAMILTON is the epic saga that follows the rise of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton as he fights for honour,
love, and a legacy that would shape the course of a nation.
After a triumphant premiere season, The Sydney Morning Herald hailed HAMILTON “thrillingly entertaining. It’s a level of excellence that runs like a river of gold through the writing ” and Time Out said, “There’s a reason it’s the most hyped show on earth ”.
And now, this landmark production returns to Sydney, one last time for a strictly limited season.
HAMILTON has had a profound impact on culture, politics, and education. HAMILTON features book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. In addition to its 11 Tony Awards, it has won Grammy®, Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and an unprecedented special citation from the Kennedy Center Honors.
