About

Global guitar sensation & multiple ARIA Award winning icon John Butler will release his forthcoming instrumental solo album Still Searching on Fri Nov 1.

To celebrate, he will be embarking on a capital city tour of Australia’s finest intimate venues, performing the album in full along with a few fan favourites such as his epic song Ocean.

Joining him for these special performances will be former John Butler Trio member Michael Barker (joining live for the first time since 2009) & Michael Boase, both on percussion.

These shows will be the first & only opportunities that fans will have to hear these songs live. Recorded in 2023 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Still Searching is the second offering this year from Butler, after he released his ambient album Running River in June. Don't miss this rare chance to catch John Butler weaving his guitar magic in its full sonic glory.

John Butler - what can I say. He is amazing. A talent beyond comprehension. The lads who accompanied him were also as jaw droppingly talented. What an amazing night, so graceful to have shared space and time together with such wonderful musos who's love of all music was palpable.

  • Very memorable evening.
