Now confirmed as special guest on all shows is Zowie.

 

New Zealand's Zowie is on the ascent. With her song 'Bite Back' all over Triple J and Channel V, and fresh off touring Future Music Festival and shows with Mark Ronson and The Business International, Zowie is winning people the world over with her unique take on alt pop.

 

Zowie and band have just returned from Austin's SXSW music festival where the praise was unanimous: "The sound is like Pat Benatar meets Gaga at an indie rave. Zowie has a degree in music (drums!) and she brings percussive and assured musicality to all of her songs", said NextHereNow blog while the Grammys blog declared: "Zowie delivered a powerful performance, playing a set of songs that neatly balanced between edgy electronica and sweeping girl-power rock."

 

Katy Perry, following the huge success of her #1 album ‘Teenage Dream', returns for arena shows in her first Australian tour since August 2009's ‘Hello Katy' tour.

 

Since the sassy pop icon's 2008 breakthrough with the massive smash hit ‘I Kissed A Girl', Katy has continued to top charts around the world. Debut album ‘One Of The Boys', is also home to hit singles, ‘Ur So Gay', ‘Hot N Cold', ‘Thinking of You' and ‘Waking Up In Vegas'.

 

Last year Katy followed-up with another massive album - the Platinum, ARIA #1 ‘Teenage Dream' - featuring the double-Platinum single of the same name, triple-Platinum ARIA #1 ‘California Gurls', triple-Platinum ‘Firework' and the latest Platinum single, ‘E.T.'.
