Gymkhana World Tour Melbourne, Tickets Released Monday 4th July
Monday July 4 marks the day that Monster Energy Australia will unleash the sought-after public tickets to the Ken Block Gymkhana World Tour leg to be held in Australia.
Held at Melbourne's Calder Park Raceway, the September 3 event will be the first chance for Australians to see the rally ace and viral video superstar in action.
To give back to the fans that support Ken Block and Monster Energy, tickets to the one of a kind event will be FREE. A strictly limited number of tickets will be available from 9am on Monday July 4 - Independence Day for the US-born Block - with a strict limit of two (2) per person.
Monster Energy Australasian Manager Adrian Hunter said overwhelming interest in the internet phenomenon had compelled them to release a limited number of free tickets to the general public.
"This is going to be a very unique spectacle," Hunter said. "We are creating a purpose-built course within the natural amphitheatre of Calder Park which will allow the public to watch Ken in action, up close.
"The event will also be showcasing the talents of our home-grown athletes such as the Monster Energy Showtime FMX Kawasaki freestyle motocross team, motorcycle stunt rider Matt Mingay and Pro Stock drag racing star Shane Tucker.
"For those that miss out on tickets to Calder Park there is still an opportunity to see Ken at the World Rally Championship event in Coffs Harbour," Hunter continued.
Ken Block Monster Energy merchandise will be available for purchase on the day, which will also feature appearances by Monster Energy athletes such as Jamie Whincup, Shane Van Gisbergen and Andrew Thompson.
Tickets to the Australian leg of the Ken Block Gymkhana World Tour will be available from 9.00am on Monday July 4.
Tickets are strictly limited to 2 per person. Onsite parking will be available. Parking tickets are $5.00 and are ONLY available as pre-purchased tickets via Ticketmaster with general admission tickets.
All monies collected from the parking fees will be donated to Bravehearts.
