They’re heralded as one of the USA’s finest live acts – a band unparalleled in groove. Now, Houston, Texas psych-funk trio Khruangbin return to Australia next summer as part of their global A LA SALA tour.

Having recently wowed fans at European festivals such as Rock Werchter and Roskilde, bassist Laura Lee Ochoa, drummer Donald ‘DJ’ Johnson, Jr., and guitarist Mark ‘Marko’ Speer will return to Australia to celebrate their first album in four years: A LA SALA (“To the room” in Spanish). If 2020’s Mordechai was a party record that enhanced the band’s musical reputation, A LA SALA is the measured morning after. A gorgeously airy album made with minimal overdubs, A LA SALA scales Khruangbin down to scale up, a creative strategy with the future in mind.

Khruangbin launched the A LA SALA tour in April at Coachella, with sold out shows across US/Canada in May/June. With festival sets at Nos Alive (Lisbon), Latitude (Suffolk), Bilbao BBK (Spain) and Bonnaroo (US) on the itinerary, and European/UK dates in November, Khruangbin return to Australia in early 2025 for what promises to be some of the hottest shows this summer.

Joining Khruangbin as special guest at all shows and making their debut trip to Australia is acclaimed two-piece Hermanos Gutiérrez, the instrumental guitar duo of Swiss/Ecuadorian brothers Alejandro and Estevan Gutiérrez. The pair’s new album, Sonido Cósmico,  was released in June and produced by Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys). Brimming with Latin mystique and otherworldly guitar interplay that “shimmers with hallucinogenic energy” (Rolling Stone), the album is an odyssey through lush musical soundscapes, as heard on lead single ‘Barrio Hustle’.

There is a strict limit of four (4) tickets per customer for the presale and ten (10) tickets per customer for the General Public for Khruangbin. 

Please adhere to the published ticket limit. Persons who exceed the ticket limit may have any or all of their orders and tickets cancelled without notice by Ticketmaster at its discretion. This includes orders associated with the same name, e-mail address, billing address, credit card number or any other information.

We’ve updated our seating framework to include a larger range of accessible seating options. There will be an option for every price level and package available for Khruangbin.

Accessible tickets (including Companion Cards) can be purchased by calling our Customer Service team on the Accessible Bookings line Monday – Sunday 9am – 5pm AEST: 1300 446 925. This phone number is reserved for patrons with accessibility requirements and companion cardholders and cannot process any other ticketing requests.

Accessible tickets, both during presales and the general public sale period, can also be requested via our Submit a request – Ticketmaster Help. Please be sure to include your relevant presale code with your request if wanting to make a booking during the presale period.

All tickets purchased through Ticketmaster are now digital, meaning you can easily access your tickets on your phone via the Ticketmaster app or mobile web browser via Ticketmaster.com.au for Khruangbin and add them straight to your phone’s ticket wallet, and share them with your friends and family.

Ticketholders need a My Ticketmaster account to access Khruangbin tickets. Sign up or sign in here.

Only purchase through Ticketmaster to guarantee you have a valid ticket for entry on event day.

    I have to say I’ve been listening to music all my life and can appreciate all tastes’ genres but when I started listening to these guys! It is an absolute masterpiece Gifted musicians Deep groove bass lines swinging into the looping guitar deep timber necked fender. DJ s structured louse drum patterns are effortless whilst your in the groove. I can’t wait for this show! See you there!
