A founding member of The Gun Club and erstwhile guitarist for The Cramps and Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, the legendary Kid Congo Powers has garage punk swagger in spades. Few musicians play in one cult band, Kid has played in three. He makes his first trip to New Zealand with long-term cohorts The Pink Monkey Birds for a night of raw, sonic ambrosia featuring a heady mix of fuzz guitars, New Orleans drum beats and bass lines dripping with soul. 

His new album La Arana Es La Vida  is available now through In The Red Records.
