This venue can be reached from Reserve Road, Newcastle or Memorial Drive, Bar Beach.

Parking

VIP Garden Party Ticket Holders have VIP parking that can be accessed from the York Street gate. This entrance is accessible off Reserve Road. RESERVE AND GENERAL ENTRY TICKET HOLDERS WILL NOT BE GIVEN ACCESS TO THIS AREA!

Reserved seating and General entry ticket holders have limited on site parking, for a small donation, at the top of King Edward Park. Drivers (excluding those using the disability drop off zone) must approach from Cliff Street onto The Terrace and enter immeditately at the York drive top gate - please follow the traffic controllers` directions.

Other parking is available at Bar Beach carpark on Memorial drive, Strzelecki Scenic Lookout, in surrounding streets and at the King Street carpark (please follow the city guides directions up Wolfe Street to King Edward Park).

Public Transportation

Available from Cityrail and Newcastle Buses with drop off zones less than one kilometres walk from the venue.

Train

From Newcastle railway station, head up Watt Street, which leads into Ordnance Road then Reserve Road to locate the Main Gate entrance on The Terrace.

Box Office Hours

Gates open at 6pm. Light entertainment will be provided from 6pm until the main performance begins.

Box Office Payment

Cash only at the main gate.

Accessible Seating

The disability drop off zone is located at the Main Gate only. Drivers must proceed off Reserve Road into The Terrace to set down at Main gate - Please follow the traffic controllers` directions.

Limited on site parking for small donation. Drivers (excluding those using disability drop off zone) must approach off Cliff Street onto The Terrace and enter at York drive top gate - please follow the traffic controllers` directions.

The ground is uneven with no paths and may be difficult to cross after dark. Patrons are advised to bring a torch for exiting, if parking in this area.

Miscellaneous

The show goes on rain, hail or shine!

Ponchos and rubber-backed rugs will be on sale at the venue in case of rain. Patrons are asked not to use umbrellas as they may obscure other patrons` views.

This is a glass free/no BYO alcohol venue.

This is an outdoor event. There is no designated smoking area. Bins are available in various locations on site for patrons to dispose of rubbish.

The venue is set in a naturally sloped amphitheatre where good views are available from many positions.

Patrons may bring rugs or folding chairs. A limited number of Bondi Chairs and rugs will be allowed on the ground in between the front of stage and VIP/Reserved seating areas. All other styles of folding chairs will be required to be located on the slope to the rear of the VIP/Reserved seating areas.

As this is an outdoor event,serviced portaloos will be on site. Limited lighting is available in this area.
