  • Neglected Musicals should Neglect The Foundry

by Mary on 17/4/25Foundry Theatre - PyrmontRating: 1 out of 5

The cast of Kiss Me Kate were excellent and trying very hard. However, the new venue for Neglected Musicals is totally unsuitable. Too big, too wide, with two rows on the same level as the "stage"we could only see the actors from waist up. The area the cast had to work in has no depth so they were forced to move sideways. Such an unsatisfactory experience that we left at the interval. Please Neglected Musicals go back to the Hayes Theatre.

  • Brilliant Production- more please

What a brilliant show this was. Great new venue at the Foundry, although I do love the intimacy of the Hayes. Great choice of actors and the director has found every little nuance within the script. What great talent we have in Australia and after only 1 rehearsal, simply amazing.

  • Great take on an old classic

A talented cast that brought the production to life so naturally after only one rehearsal and covered any mishaps with quick wit and subtlety. A great production from Neglected Musicals @theFoundryTheatre
