About
Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2025
From 26 March to 20 April, comedy is taking over the streets of Melbourne, with laughs around every corner! Coming to you from the biggest stages in town, bars, hidden laneway venues, underground clubs, on your screens and on the streets, there's guaranteed to be something for everyone.
The energy is electric, the laughs are contagious and the creativity is endless! Take your seat in a sold-out venue to watch one of the biggest names in comedy, or take a punt on someone brand new. Bring the family out for some kid-friendly funnies, or stay out past your bedtime for some late-night laughs. Whatever you choose, get ready for (almost) four weeks of non-stop laughs at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival!
‘This is the best time of the year to be in Melbourne – there are endless forms of comedy to enjoy, the city is teeming with funny, interesting people from all over the world. If you’ve never been to the festival before, you’re in for the time of your life’ The Age
‘Melbourne has the biggest comedy festival in the world: a three-week carnival of stand-up, sketch and beyond, dedicated to nothing but the art of making people laugh.’ The Guardian
