Travelling by Car Travelling by Car Public parking can be found at Yarra Park Car Park (MCG), via Gates 3, 5, and 6. Please check the MCG website for opening times and further information. Travelling by Train Patrons can catch trains to Flinders Street Station, Jolimont Station or Richmond Station, and then walk down Birrarung Marr to the City Entrance or tram to Rod Laver Arena zone (Garden Square) or John Cain Arena zone (Practice Village Entrance) for people with accessibility needs. The last train services depart Flinders Street Station from approximately midnight during the week. The Night Network will operate on weekends, with trains departing hourly all night from Flinders Street Station. Travelling by Tram All valid Australian Open ticket holders can enjoy the AO Free Tram Shuttle service operating on Route 70 to and from the CBD to 7B Rod Laver Arena / MCG Gates 1-3 and 7C MCG Gates 4-7 / John Cain Arena tram stops. During peak periods, trams will run every 2-3 minutes. The AO Free Tram Shuttle Service will operate until one hour after the end of play. Night Network trams will operate every 30 minutes all night on weekends across six key routes - 19, 67, 86, 96 & 109. These routes service St Kilda, Coburg, Bundoora, Port Melbourne, Carnegie, Box Hill, Vermont South and Brunswick as well as the CBD. Bus 246 (Latrobe Uni - Elsternwick Station) stops at corner of Olympic Boulevard and Punt Road. For more details on public transport options please call 1800 800 007 or visit ptv.vic.gov.au Ride Share There are designated Ride Share pick-up locations, outside John Cain Arena along Olympic Boulevard and rear of Federation Square along the Russell Street extension. Taxi A taxi rank is located on Olympic Boulevard, adjacent to Grand Slam Oval. This is for use by taxi vehicles only. Patrons exiting via City Entrance (Birrarung Marr) can utilise the taxi rank located at Flinders Street Station.

Accessible Seating

Reserved Seats Please advise your exact seating requirements at the time of booking. Every effort will be made to accommodate your request, subject to the availability of appropriate seating and ticket limits. Seating is available for patrons: using wheelchairs, who are vision impaired, with limited mobility, who require the use of a hearing loop and requiring shade due to a medical condition. Subject to availability, wheelchair and Companion Card tickets are available to purchase online for the Arena sessions at the 2023 Australian Open. Wheelchair and Companion Card tickets can be purchased online at a 1to1 ratio. If you require additional wheelchair or carer seating OR you have accessibility requirements that do not require a wheelchair, please ring 1300 446 925, Monday to Sunday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm (AEDT). Hearing Loop Hearing Loops work across the entire seating bowl of each arena, and can be collected from the relevant arena information desk each day. Companion Cards Companion Cards are accepted at the Australian Open. If a companion card ticket is required, then the companion card must be presented at the time of booking and also carried with the person with disability when attending the Australian Open.
