Travelling by Car Public parking can be found at Yarra Park Car Park (MCG), via Gates 3, 5, and 6. Parking is $10 per day. Please check the MCG website for opening times and further information. Travelling by Train Patrons can catch trains to Flinders Street Station, Jolimont Station or Richmond Station, and then walk down Birrarung Marr to the City Entrance or tram to Rod Laver Arena zone (Garden Square) or John Cain Arena zone (Practice Village Entrance) for people with accessibility needs. The last train services depart Flinders Street Station from approximately midnight during the week. The Night Network will operate on weekends, with trains departing hourly all night from Flinders Street Station. Travelling by Tram All valid Australian Open ticket holders can enjoy the AO Free Tram Shuttle service operating on Route 70 to and from the CBD to 7B Rod Laver Arena / MCG Gates 1-3 and 7C MCG Gates 4-7 / John Cain Arena tram stops from Monday 8 February to Sunday 21 February. During peak periods, trams will run every 2-3 minutes. The AO Free Tram Shuttle Service will operate until one hour after the end of play. Night Network trams will operate every 30 minutes all night on weekends across six key routes - 19, 67, 86, 96 & 109. These routes service St Kilda, Coburg, Bundoora, Port Melbourne, Carnegie, Box Hill, Vermont South and Brunswick as well as the CBD. Bus 246 (Latrobe Uni - Elsternwick Station) stops at corner of Olympic Boulevard and Punt Road. For more details on public transport options please call 1800 800 007 or visit ptv.vic.gov.au Ride Share There are designated Ride Share pick-up locations, outside John Cain Arena along Olympic Boulevard and rear of Federation Square along the Russell Street extension. Taxi A taxi rank is located on Olympic Boulevard, adjacent to Grand Slam Oval. This is for use by taxi vehicles only. Patrons exiting via City Entrance (Birrarung Marr) can utilise the taxi rank located at Flinders Street Station.

Download your digital ticket via your Ticketmaster account. Forward tickets to others in your group To keep everyone safe and ensure accurate contact tracing, every adult attendee will need to have their own digital ticket on their phone. If you have purchased tickets for your friends, family or guests, you will need to forward tickets to each person in your group prior to entering. You can do this using Ticketmaster’s forwarding function. Doing this in advance will save you time in the queue, and we appreciate you doing your part to keep the event COVIDSafe. Play it safe We all have a role to play in keeping each other and our community safe so before leaving your home make sure you are match fit. Stay home and get tested if you are feeling unwell or have any of the following symptoms: Fever Runny nose Sore throat or cough Chills or sweats Shortness of breath Loss of sense of smell or taste If you are currently required to isolate or quarantine, are awaiting a COVID-19 test result, have been identified as a close contact, visited an area subject to travel restrictions or an an exposure site then please stay home and follow heath advice. AT THE AO Don’t forget to check-in All patrons are required to check-in to various spaces across the precinct to assist with contact tracing. Simply scan the QR code with your smartphone device, fill in your details and click submit. If you do not have a smartphone or need assistance, please speak with one of our friendly AO Team members who will be able to check you in using a tablet device. Contactless food ordering Contactless food and drink ordering is available across the precinct. Simply scan the QR codes available - order via your smartphone - and collect. Cashless transactions To mitigate the risk of shared touchpoints, AO 2021 will have only cashless transactions in our food, beverage and retail outlets across the precinct. There are three Mastercard Cashless Exchange points which allow you to swap your cash for a pre-paid Mastercard, that will be accepted by all vendors. The exchange points can be found on Grand Slam Oval in the Rod Laver Arena zone, between Margaret Court Arena and Show Court 3 in the Margaret Court Arena zone or on AO Hilltop. The cards are available in denominations of $25, $50 and $100. PLAY IT SAFE AT THE AO As per Victorian Health Guidelines, everyone must carry a mask with them when leaving home. It is mandatory to wear a mask indoors unless actively eating or drinking. When outdoors, masks are mandatory when you cannot maintain physical distancing of 1.5m. In Arenas, it is mandatory to wear a mask when you are not seated.
