The views from the Bass Strait Grandstand regularly have fans holding their breath as the bikes careen flat out in fifth through the short straight out of Turn 2 before sweeping through Stoner Corner and into the newly named Miller Corner (Turn 4) - one of the Circuit’s prime overtaking hotspots and location of Jack Miller’s heartbreaking crash in 2022.
With a super-screen positioned across the track and with bar and food outlets conveniently located nearby, the Bass Strait Grandstand is an ideal spot for motorsport connoisseurs to enjoy the fast-flowing intricacies of the iconic Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.

Named after Australian motorsport legend and former World Champion Wayne Gardner, the Gardner Straight Grandstand overlooks the start/finish line, with views into the pit lane.
The Gardner Straight Grandstand puts fans in pole position to feel the rumble of engines as the bikes are pushed to their limits and approach speeds of 350km/hr before disappearing over the horizon.
With premium undercover seating options and an accessibility platform for patrons with accessibility requirements, the Gardner Straight Grandstand also backs onto our 2023 GP Expo and main fan hub with a plethora of food, drink, merchandise and off-track entertainment choices.

The Lukey Heights Grandstand is located at the apex of the Circuit’s steep descent out of Turn 9, providing cross-Circuit views over arguably the track’s most challenging and technical section, all the way across to the Southern Loop.
Turn 9 is one of Phillip Island’s most notorious sections, with a long left-hander leading to a blind crest and a tricky downhill run into the Turn 10 hairpin, which is renowned as one of the Circuit’s prime overtaking locations.
The Lukey Heights Grandstand gives fans some of the best views of this fast-flowing and highly technical part of the Circuit and backs onto Lukey’s Lawn, one of the Circuit’s marquee off-track entertainment hubs.

The Grandstand’s location provides spectators unmatched views of the bikes negotiating the hairpin at Miller Corner (previously Turn 4), the sight of Jack Miller’s heartbreaking incident in 2022.
Watch as the riders click through their gears into Turn 5 before flashing through Siberia’s sweeping Turn 6 left-hander and roar up towards the northern part of the track.

With nearby amenities and after-hours entertainment provided, camping at The Island is an immersive experience that’ll have you living and breathing motorcycle racing for the weekend.
In 2023, campers have multiple site options that range from Premium Trackside sites to Pre-Pitched sites to ensure that regardless of your propensity to camp, we have a site to suit your needs.

Inclusive of an Island Pass (GA), The Clubhouse offers an extensive range of food options conveniently located nearby, as well as an incredible view of one of the best overtaking locations of the circuit.
Note: You do not have to purchase an Island Pass (GA) ticket to access the Clubhouse, as this is already included in the ticket price. Kids also are not free in this area. A junior Clubhouse ticket must be purchased for children to enter this facility.

Hero Walk returns to the MotoGP™ Guru by Gryfyn Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix for 2023, again giving fans a chance to welcome riders to the circuit. Motorsport fans will have the opportunity to interact with their favourite MotoGP™, Moto2™ and Moto3™ riders.
Hero Walk provides a chance to meet your favourite riders, with MotoGP™ riders expected to descend on the fan favourite area on Sunday, with the emerging talent of riders in Moto2™ and Moto3™ making their trip down the Hero Walk across the weekend.
Hero Walk is situated along the riders’ route to the MotoGP™ Paddock and includes roving performers and a DJ. It will be the best position for fans to get a selfie or autograph with the event’s stars, with limited tickets available.

Pick-Up Locations
A pre-booked wheelchair-accessible bus will operate from Melbourne (Southern Cross Coach Terminal) to Gate 3, each day of the event. Phone bookings for this service are essential by calling (03) 9258 7100.
All Catch-a-Coach services drop off and pick up at Gate 3 on Gap Road at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, with the following exceptions:
Coaches depart the circuit from Gate 3 back to Melbourne during the following time periods:
The last coach departs the circuit when the gates close. Please ensure you leave enough time to get to the Gate 3 coach stop before the gates close.
