Born and raised in Botswana, Melbourne-based Mwanjé Tembo is a singer-songwriter originally from Zambia who expresses herself through music, art and dance. With influences such as Solange and FKA Twigs, Mwanjé’s use of melisma and stacked harmonies create a psychedelic trance that captivates her listeners. Mwanjé hopes to grow with her listeners, as she writes lyrics founded in real-life experiences.
