The tricks were quite basic for adults some the exact same tricks were used just with a different prop. The dancers outfits (almost cabaret-style) and the use of some props (cutting saws, stabbing knives and blades) felt a bit out of place for a family audience but then the show featured some cute elements clearly aimed at children, which made it confusing as to whom this is targeted at. There was also a lot of time spent on filler, they dancers remained on stage for extended periods, the intermission was long, and a significant portion of time was used for chatting with audience members brought on stage, all with relatively few impressive tricks.
So much dancing during the show even though it was a magic show. It wasn't spectacular at all. Finished with unsatisfied emotion at the end. very strange ending.
Was very enjoyable, amazing show, very entertaining.
Absolutely loved the show! Loved the dancing girls and the illusions were stunning! Highly recommend the show for all ages! Would go again.
Illusions have been used by many a magician and were nothing special. He spent alot of the time bringing kids on stage, asking the audience to cheer for him and the dancers seemed to be on stage more than he was. We went to see Cosentino and he was ten times better illusion wise and personality. You get what you pay for I guess.
We saw the 2pm show at crown casino The kids loved it and had a lot of fun and there was even a lot of interesting bits for the adults too! We would definitely come back to see it next year!
Saw the Mystique show in Melbourne Crown Casino with the family and it was absolutely sensational!!! The illusions, costumes and lighting were world class - was like a Vegas show and kids were just mesmerized. A fantastic night out 10/10.
Probably too much dancing, not enough tricks. Although the illusions were spectacular.
We saw Michael and the very talented dancers last night. We paid $69 for the tickets and felt it was a justified price for what we saw. There were cute interactions with kids from the crowd. We didn’t know what to expect but enjoyed the show. There were two really great illusions and the rest of the show was entertaining. The dancers were interactive and enjoyable to watch. They stayed back after the show for photos and were super friendly. Overall we got what we payed for and had a good time.
