Tram - Nos. 23, 24 & 30 via LaTrobe Street. Also the free City Circle tram, alight at intersection of LaTrobe and Russell Streets, then walk up the hill towards Victoria Street.

The Old Melbourne Gaol welcomes visitors in wheelchairs, however due to the construction of the building wheelchair access is only aailable to the ground floor. Cell doorways are extremely narrow and are not wheelchair accessible.
Visitors with mobility problems should be aware that to progress from one level to another involves long flights of steep steps.

Night performances at the Gaol are not designed for children, and the recommended minimum age is 12 years and over.
