Where do i start haha, i was unfortunate enough to watch the race from the front straight and was lucky too watch the podium celebration. I had the chance to meet Marc Marquez, Alex Marquez, Joel Kelso, meeting them topped up my weekend on the Island. Moto GP is way and the only way the racing more exciting and closer
Had the most Mazing time at the MotoGP. The only issue was trying to get out of the parking lot. Took us almost 2 hours to leave the parking on the Saturday, it was a shambles!! Really need someone who knows what they’re doing, or even the local traffic to man the exits. Other than that, there were no issues, food was great, toilets were always clean, people were super friendly and the riders were amazing!!
The racing was great. However each day entery to the circuit was disgustingly slow. Although I arrived early before the opening the process of having everyone covered with a wound and told its only random plus a bag checked was painful slow. I could hear the bikes on track but was still stuck outside in a,queue. Open the gates early and let people in. This is a high cause of dissatisfaction and poor service....just open up at 7 ock to keep the queue moving. Really how hard is it....bikes on track paying customers stuck outside in a queue
Melbourne's unpredictable weather kept us away from the track Friday, but after a damp start Saturday, it only improved as the weekend progressed. We attended Saturday & Sunday and the racing, the Expo Shed and the entertainment were great. The cost of the food and the quality of the pictures on the trackside viewing screens left a lot to be desired. As General Admission ticket holders we were happy with the weekend as a whole. I've been going to the GP at Phillip Island for over 24 years now & hopefully it will continue to be held here for many more years to come.
Great event with so much organisation but the pathetic food choices is so second-rate. We are over fried food and pizza! Surely there are food providers who offer fresh sandwiches, salads and lighter, healthier options.
Phillip Island is a great spectator track. We were in Lukey Heights which gives view of nearly 1/3 of the track (better than most tracks!) and a large-ish screen. I would’ve liked the screen to be bigger and higher resolution as the leaderboard was difficult to make out. We sampled a lot of the food, which was expensive. We had a good pizza, but average burgers and a dry Tandoori wrap. I did enjoy the fact there were donuts because it was cold and they helped us stay warm. If you’re going to Phillip Island, keep in mind the weather fluctuates wildly and rapidly, especially in Spring. I wore a snowboarding jacket which kept me warm but was a pain to carry in those precious moments when the sun came out and scorched everyone. Four Seasons in one day? More like an hour!
Amazing day at PI!! Super efficient and friendly staff, everywhere. Plenty of info booths throughout the track, both mention toilets and food. I like some other places you can go to watch Motorsport PI had it all. Well done to the organisers.
From turn 11 to turn 12 the public walking track was a mud slide and not wide enough for two way traffic also the trade pavilion is getting stale , need to bring new experiences in the public areas, seems to be less standing areas for public entry , also no bourbon sold at the bar , not sure about going next year it seems like we are getting pushed into buying a ticket in the stands witch we did this year but it’s getting expensive
