  • Morning town ride

by Mijinaus on 29/4/25Mornington Racecourse - MorningtonRating: 4 out of 5

Had a great day, no rain, prices at on-site venues as expected. Found a great new performer Dallas F. Rose Tattoo most of the time can't be beaten. Baby Animals great, and The Living End, the bees knees, don't care what you say. George Thorogood and the Destroyers. Wow, they certainly did. ZZ Top came on played expertly, Elroy should lose the cheesy beard. The music was there but I think the soul left went to New Orleans, and got stuck.

  • Sensational day

by Martina on 28/4/25Rating: 5 out of 5

Fabulous day out with some of our favourite bands. Dallas Frasca was a newly-discovered gem! What an amazing voice she has. Every band absolutely rocked, and blew us away. Such an incredible line-up. All was so well organised, and ran smoothly. Thanks for all the female toilets, yet the blokes felt there should have been more toilets for them. Please have a hot jam donut food van next year. There was great array of food trucks - lots of options. Can't wait for next year's show

  • It was awesome

  • Aussies ROCK

by Cheryl n Rosie on 28/4/25Mornington Racecourse - MorningtonRating: 4 out of 5

All the Aussie artists were true to form and freaking AMAZING. Really disappointed with George Thorogood and ZZ Top. Too much guitar playing and not enough singing. ZZ Top left the stage without even saying goodbye or Thank you or Up your bum. NOTHING. A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. We were really looking forward to seeing this massive line up ... the Aussie's DID NOT let us down. The Living End will always be legendary. Forever the US artists and stick with Aussie made. WE ARE THE BEST. Never saw any security. The young waste collectors did an awesome job. If 2026 happens ... STAY WITH LOCAL ARTISTS ... PLEASE ...

  • Well organised event

by DeeG on 28/4/25Bendigo Jockey Club - AscotRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent event, well run and catering was fantastic. Finally an event with enough toilets for women. Perhaps not for the men though. Overall great bands and a good change from just the usual Jimmy Barnes lineup. Would be good for some other Aussie acts to get a gig though.

Great venue, no hassles getting in or out. Fantastic sound, fantastic lineup. Seeing ZZ Top live was a bucket list moment for me as well as George Thorogood, goosebumps.
